Doubt isn’t relevant if there’s a Democrat in office when he gets elected. I’d say there’s a pretty solid chance of him losing in 2020 unless they nominate another candidate as terrible as Hillary. Which is a feat in and of itself.

If there was a chance he would be prosecuted, he would just resign the day before he leaves office and president Pence would pardon him. Trump isn't going to jail. @strummingram is right, the system is set up to almost eliminate the chance that people with that much power are held accountable.
It would be nice to see a list of the actual crimes he has committed, you know like with actual hard evidence.

He's still president after the 2020 election. He can ride it out to see if he wins. If he doesn't he can resign before the 2020 winner gets into office.

The man possesses incredible drive and resolve to accomplish his goals, if they fall within his capabilities and resources. He's a master bullshitter. He always has been. But... he is a dumbshit, too. His ego will sink him as much as it will advance him. He's too immature and undisciplined to maintain a healthy balance. That's why he resorts to paying women to be quiet... he has no control over his impulses. Whatever the word for that is, he's it.
Again, I'm not saying that he doesn't have weaknesses, just that intelligence isn't one of them. Watch him during the debates. He thinks pretty quick on his feet, much more so than Hillary.

Dumb, for example, is unwilling to speak, or being incapable of speech. I doubt that is ever used correctly anymore.

You know, that's another thing that I find peculiar. Since Trump was elected, the whole Muslim scare has vanished. I mean, completely vanished. I find it very hard to believe that his mere presence has sent them all running back to their caves (no offense). It just makes me wonder how much of that whole adversary is a "fear-of-the-month (year, decade)" depending on the circumstances.
And, to the article, I doubt anyone is surprised by that. The mechanisms in the US "government" are easily in-bed with whomever or whatever advances their agenda at any given time. They always have been, and always will be. I'd be content with a shared cell for both of the 2016 Presidential candidates if they're guilty of crimes.

If Trump had been responsible for anything remotely connected to that, he'd be tweeting it and giving himself medals for his heroism. Not a word about the troops in the Middle East. No Muslim threats at all. It's like it never happened.
The little bit I've heard about Afghanistan hasn't been good. It sounds like the only part of that country we still are in charge of are the poppy fields and oil pipelines.
I thought that was a good one especially since it was in context with the thread.
