Anyone(WWJD) who adopts a username specifically to poke fun at people’s religious beliefs is a lowlife POS. It’s fine if someone doesn’t believe in Christianity but to mock half the world that does is not only insulting but beyond stupidity.
bingo bongo boom, my friend. I don't take anyone to task for what they do or don't believe regarding religion, no matter how strongly I might disagree. The right to an opinion or belief is even more basic than the right to speak freely, and my religious beliefs I consider to be the most personal feelings I have..

My own beliefs about religion are not standard by any means, and I keep them to myself for the most part. But two things that raise my hackles are mocking someone's religious beliefs (as long as those beliefs aren't being imposed on anyone) and getting in our faces with a mocking belief in NOT believing in God. If you want to not believe in God, so be it...just tell me about it if you must, but don't get in my face with it with misplaced condescension.. Have some RESPECT.

Well, that's one of the things about being "you." What other people do differently from you is weird. The trick is to realize that we're all connected and what we do to others, we do it to ourselves. It's not really a trick... it's more like a purpose.
I think I see it now...we're all connected. It's like when you post, all humanity seems a bit less grounded in reality.

Well, you're a Catholic, you should know your Scripture. It's very specific about it. We are all connected.

Reality is up for grabs. One man's reality is another man's fantasy. Any addict can attest to that!

Reality is knowing that when someone says "I just wanna find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have, because we won the state. And, FLIPPING THE STATE is a great testament to our country"... they mean exactly what they just said. That it is a direct, unmitigated statement whose context is blatant and isn't "out of context" at all.

I think enough members of Congress, especially Republicans, are shouting down the idea so taxpayers won't have to foot the bill for this boondoggle. Trump is like the little boy who wants a pony for his birthday and is about to learn he's not getting it.

Right... the "bad women", not the "good women." Those sorry bitches are so disgusting it makes you wanna puke. The "good women", on the other hand- the ones that do what you expect them to do- they're tolerable.

former Catholic, but whatever. I don't know why Catholics should know scripture better than other Christian religion members....and I don't know 'my' scripture very well. I just know what I need to know, and that's that what Jesus represents to us is what I love. That we are all connected in a sense or possibly in more than just a sense is something that I figured out all on my own a long time ago. That's why I can truly say that when you post, we should all feel a little dumber.

Reality is up for grabs. One man's reality is another man's fantasy. Any addict can attest to that!
and apparently an addict is. Actually, however, there is only one reality, one truth...our perception of reality is what is unique to each of us. To say your perception of reality is unique is quite an understatement.

Reality is knowing that when someone says "I just wanna find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have, because we won the state. And, FLIPPING THE STATE is a great testament to our country"... they mean exactly what they just said. I'm still arguing with a dufus who doesn't understand what out-of-context means. And I have already countered your relentlessly idiotic misunderstanding of what Trump meant. Getting those votes would flip the State, and there was nothing wrong with his asking for votes to be found that he believed existed. If he didn't believe they existed, how could he contend that " we won the state" as you quoted? He was not asking for the State to be flipped without legitimate votes causing that to happen. You want to imply that that IS what he was doing although you supply the words that belie that contention. Your reality is a strange, narrow one. TDS has that effect on many.

Well, well, well. While I personally don't like the idea of the plane because it would have to be completely disassembled, striped, and gone over for structural integrity and security/privacy reasons, as per the normal playbook, the rest of the story begins to emerge. I wish I was the least bit surprised by this:

I have to admit, in my reality there are truly disgusting women who don't protect themselves against disease (as opposed to other and not necessarily 'good' women who do) and who have little concern that they might spread that disease by not practicing methods of protection. But enough about your mom...

No, I KEED, I KEED

I believe you have been hoodwinked yet again, @pooponduke . It's no secret Qatar has been trying to unload this inefficient, fuel-guzzling behemoth to the first potential buyer for over a decade. That story has been all over the news for a week.

So it's no surprise they may have offered to sell it to the U.S. while Joe Biden was in office. The big difference is, if it was offered, Joe Biden wasn't foolish enough to take the bait like Donald Trump just did. That's why you never saw FOX News covering this, because there was no story there.

Let me know if you find something . . . anything to corroborate Markwayne Mullin's fanciful tale suggesting Biden expressed interest in buying it. In the meantime, I'm going to sit back, have some more coffee, and laugh at the gullibility of all the MAGA wankers like you.

who said he wasn't begging? Who said it wasn't pathetic? WHO SAID HE WASN'T ASKING? I in fact said he was asking. In most people's reality, asking is not a crime. Do you think throwing in some made-up, extraneous, off-target negativity makes you seem any less foolish? And please very precisely show the words of his that indicate without question that he was even asking for criminal ways to find votes that he needed.

Shitbag comey needs to end up in prison. The FBI can subpoena all his and his family's emails, bank/credit card transactions, and cell locations to see where he bought those shells that all match up.

I think any woman who has abortion as a means of birth control, and in particular one who goes so far as to protest the threat of loss of that option, is less likely to be using other means. What do you think? I think a woman who says she is concerned over having a baby, and that baby disrupting her education, is less likely to be using 99% effective birth control and more likely to be depending on the option of abortion. What do you think?...lol

That’s a laughably stupid but totally unsurprising take. Just because someone doesn’t want abortion to be banned doesn’t mean they’re depending on it as birth control. This kind of ignorance is probably the reason why so many women are fed up with hearing men’s opinions on their reproductive rights.

The Trump administration will protect us by eliminating the emergency weather warnings.

I don't know why nobody ever thought about doing that before.

so? Correlation is not causation. How can you be a regular here and not understand this? I remember once I saw an emergency alert come on TV and nothing happened. The alert failed completely to produce an emergency. Calm down, scaredycat, if shit is going to happen, it will happen regardless of any 'shit is going to happen' alert.

Moral of the story...shit happens.

and nobody said that. I said someone who has abortion to depend on as a method of birth control is less likely to depend on other means of birth control, and a woman who bothers to protest the possible loss of that option is also less likely to be depending on other methods which are so effective that the need for abortion is almost absent. This is known as common sense, something that you and your buddy @strummingram am seem to be in short supply of.

You seem to have forgotten to answer my direct question regarding this, in order to skip right to a mischaracterization of what I said. Are you trying to outdo strummer?

Do you actually understand how sex and pregnancy works? If sexually active women were primarily relying on abortion as birth control then they’d end up needing them every couple of months. That isn’t a tenable solution physiologically or financially.

Shit happens. Women get pregnant even when they’re using birth control. Ectopic pregnancies happen. Miscarriages happen. Rape happens. There are countless reasons why women might elect or need to have an abortion and frankly it isn’t any of your business. And it certainly isn’t the government’s business.
do you actually have any appreciable reading comprehension? The word 'primarily' that you interjected is a product of your need to defend the indefensible. I never implied that abortion was the primary means of birth control for the women I referenced. I said they depended on it as a means of birth control, the implication being that as long as they have BC to fall back on, they are or can be more casual about using whatever would be their primary method.

I maintained that the majority of women having abortions were doing so as a matter of convenience, nothing more than a means of avoiding having to raise a child that they created but did not want to bear. A notoriously defensive poster said that was wrong, that most abortions were medically necessary or the result of incest or rape. I then produced a government document that verified my contention....the VAST majority of women were relying on abortion as a means of birth control period; no mitigating factors. Abortions performed due to those other factors were accounted for and they were a very small fraction of the total.

That post is archived but I'm not going to try to retrieve it for your benefit. You can look for it back in this thread or you can search the web and find the document in question.

But back to the main point...if women didn't have abortion as a backstop, they would be more careful about preventing a pregnancy. Of course you'll reject that simple logic and that substantiated fact, because you are a good liberal and with libs, common sense gets thrown out the window in arguments that call for responsibility and human decency

The GOP is in a tough spot. They know most voters support Roe vs Wade. They were content for 50 years to just campaign on reversing it. Now the SCOTUS comes along and upsets that applecart.

I know, that's why I said it.

Only an idiot would claim to speak for other people.
only an idiot fails to realize that one person can very well speak for other people. That one person just doesn't happen tp be you in the case in point. Ask Donald Trump about speaking for other people. The people hw spoke for put him in office. The people he spoke for aren't the virtue-signaling type though, so I can see why the obvious escapes you so readily..

yet you are known for doing exactly that when you are trying to exhibit your imagined moral superiority..

you know what would cut down on abortions even more? Not getting pregnant to begin with. Duh huh.

Better yet, do as @bluetoe does and turn women off to the point none of them will come near you.
so you're suggesting that bluetoe should do what bluetoe does? That's brilliant. I wonder what might take longer....you to come up with such idiocy or you figuring out that you are in fact clueless. I vote for the latter, based on you consistently posting such idiocy.
