Kamala, on the other hand is a run of the mill progressive democrat. She is not a Marxist. She is not a socialist. She is a bland run of the mill candidate. She is unlikely to be a great president, but c’mon, she is orders of magnitude better than the piece of shit has been that is Trump.
For me, I just want MAGA gone from our politics. I want an actual fiscal conservative candidate from the GOP, I want balanced budgets. The only way to get that is to break MAGA’s chokehold on the GOP and the only way to get that is 4 years of Kamala. That is the only pragmatic choice.
I think what is baffling for many of us (not a dem but I’m a never Trumper) is that Trump isn’t just “bad”. He is awful. Like historically one of the worst public GOP figures in our nation’s history. And I’m not just talking about his moral failings. His go to economic policy is tariffs, he flirts with dictators, he won’t solve the deficit, etc. He is awful.

I could break this down as to your silliness, but I get the overall point regarding the hyperbole so I won't burn our time to do so.
My real issue about it is that it shouldn't even be an issue. That is, the interviews, town halls, debates and so on should be on the up and up - beyond question of any inside help (you know, like giving the world's smartest woman the questions prior to the debate). When did it become a thing to be in the bag for one candidate or the other? Personal desires are one thing, but you should still do your jobs. KH shouldn't need this type of assistance to show her superiority to orange hitler.
If he was so freaking bad and she was so freaking good, this wouldn't be close and we both know that. The truth is much closer to points that are opposite from how they are portrayed. They both have some significant issues. Hers take us down a road that may be beyond recovery and we are likely to have her for eight years, not maxed out at four. That would be 20 years of D versus 4 of R over a 24 year span versus 12 and 8. I know that's perfectly fine with your alignment, but we need some balance over the long run.
