4-2 (1-1) BC is in Blacksburg facing the 3-3 (1-1) Hokies. Pry is still trying to show that he can be the long term replacement for Beamer, who, like Bobby Bowden, stayed on for too long and so did the program he led a great disservice in term of its future after the legend must be gone. O'Brien is looking to secure BC's slot as a winning team across the season.

Friday

1-5 (1-4) FSU heads to Wallace Wade to take on the 5-1 (1-1) Blue Devils. Dook is looking to secure bowl eligibility, while FSU is hoping for a near miracle turn around to a nightmare season that should still be winless (Cal played the better game in Tallahassee).

Saturday

The Big Game is Noon on ABC: 6-0 (2-0) Miami at 4-2 (2-1) Louisville. The Canes have the talent edge, but Brohm is a first rate coach and Louisville often plays gangbusters at Home. A Cards upset would have them looking good to make the ACC Championship Game. A Canes loss would hurt the chances of the ACC getting 2 teams in the playoffs.

2-4 (1-2) Wake heads to CFB heartland in East Hartford, CT (where 10 times more people care about the NHL than about UConn FB) to take on 4-2 UConn. Yes, UConn has a batter record than UNC and Moo and Wake, which says a great deal about why the ACC is in the mess it's in. The 2 UConn losses are to Maryland and Dook.

4-2 (2-1) UVA is running the gauntlet in Death Valley. Tony Elliott and his staff seem to have the Cavaliers turned around, and Dabo seems to have 5-1 (4-0) Clemson back on track as well. Remember, Clemson even played a good 1st Half vs. UGA.

The 3-4 (0-3) Fightin' Wufs head all the way west to Berkeley to have a Sit In for the rights of losing teams to be honored. The interesting fact is that 3-3 (0-3) Cal has lost its 3 ACC games by a grand total of 8 points. And both Miami and Pitt remain undefeated. The Cal Bears are not a soft, ditzy Mack Brown coached team. Hopefully they put it all together and stomp Moo for their first ACC win.

5-2 (3-2) GT hosts 5-1 ND at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, which takes away any GT Home Field advantage. Haynes King was injured last week at UNC going into the game and clearly was not at his best at any point. He did get knocked out of the game. If King is fully healthy, GT has a a passing game and could make a close game of it. The ACC sure could use that W.

5-1 (2-0) SMU will head to Silicon Valley to face 2-4 (1-2) Stanford. The lone SMU loss is to ranked BYU, which means that the Ponies could be a major threat to reach the ACC CCG. Can they avoid the let down after that big Road win at Louisville?

no effing way carolina would dominate an acc opponent like vatech is doing right now…and keep in mind, carolina has infinitely more “talent” than vatech and bc.

the program is broken…zero game planning, zero heart and zero toughness…that’s on the leader and the a.d.

vatech is the model 8-4 team and carolina couldn’t match its physicality, ever.

and i realize vatech’s corners are nfl caliber, but carolina doesn’t even press…the hokies are jamming the shit out of an inferior squad, we do not.

there has to be a guy or a system that will make this thing work…and how much money are they working with?

BC made a valiant come back, but then VT again stepped on the gas and won 42-21. VT RB Tuten had nearly 300 yards rushing. VT OL blocked well all night, and Tuten just ran patiently and would bust out once he saw the hole open even a little bit.

Dan Mullen was interesting as he kept praising various aspects of the ACC. He talked about how deep and balanced the ACC is as well as how great a venue Lane Stadium is.

Devils lead Noles 7-3 on pick 6. FSU WRs have dropped passes and also run very lazy routes. They look very poorly coached.

FSU OL cannot block Dook's pass rush. Not a lick. Dook going to win by 7 with less than 200 yards total offense.

Very ugly game.

Miami scored its 2nd TD on a pass on which the WR caught the ball about 15 yards beyond the LOS. WR was in the exact center of the filed, wide open - nobody in any direction within 7 or 8 yards.

Man, I would love to see UNC receivers get that wide open.

Louisville lties game with Miami 31 all. Cards had 100 yard kick off TD and then caused Canes fumble. Though threw TD pass.

This is a high quality game, the very opposite of FSU at Dook.

not an acc game, but damn tennessee players are put together…i can dream, lol.
Heupel is another first rate coach that was at a G5 and ignored by ACC schools. Just stupid, short sighted football thinking in the ACC office since its beginning and in most ACC AD offices.
