Hell no lol.
You are full of shit. You absolutely would.
Hell no lol.
$20 or an avatar bet? Or both?
And the bet is that Trump wins presidency by 10 or more points.
To Strums point, Hillary being indicted is not a lock.
Trump wins nomination fairly easily and general election in a landslide- more than 10 pts over Biden or Sanders- whichever one fills the void after Hillary withdraws.
^^^ this is your bet^^^
No, I'm not betting on a Clinton being indicted.
Why are you backing off of this now?
+1. She does nothing for me whatsoever.Hell no lol.
Don't understand the fascination with either woman, to be honest. Fey is definitely more attractive than Palin, but neither would be any more than a 2* on my recruiting services.+1. She does nothing for me whatsoever.
Now, Tina Fey on the other hand.... Yes sir!
And back to the subject at hand........let me first say that I like Trump. Can't say as of yet that I'd vote for him, but I definitely like him being in the race.
But getting an endorsement from Palin? To me, that just makes his campaign look even more clownish because Palin is a cartoon character. I know she's not as dumb as she seems, but she's one of those folks where "perception is reality" bites her in the ass. It just is what it is.
To this day, I still firmly believe that McCain nominating Palin as his VP running mate was his campaign's death knell. It was done at that point. If he had nominated Romney like he should have, then he would've won or at least it would've been way way closer.

Dude, I can drive 30 minutes to Lennox Mall in Atlanta and sit on a bench for 10 minutes and no less than 10 females much more attractive than either SP or TF will walk by me. Ain't saying I'd be able to land any of them, but they'd at least be there haha.
Touche.I would on those chicks too. What's your point?
Noted. I was unaware Palin was such a loved figure by Conservative women. Seems like an odd person to look up to, but to each her own.Yes, you're A MAN ...hence your feelings about Palin. My point is pure and simple: a lot of Conservative women love Palin and aren't real high on Trump. Palin endorsing him CAN ONLY HELP with that segment of the votes. Nothing more, nothing less.

Probably true. What an awful, awful candidate the GOP trotted out that election. Just terrible. I voted against Obama, I didn't vote for McCain.T
No way McCain would have won under any circumstances against Obama.
The only reason she withdraws is indictment.
Are we betting or not?
sure, why not.
I think you're seriously underestimating how much independent voters dislike Trump. It'll be interesting to see what happens if/when he gets the Republican nomination. I want to see how far he moves to the middle, if at all.$20 on Trump winning general election by 10+ pts?

Yeah, and what I'm saying is that independents don't care for his identity. And according to Gallup, more voters self-identify as independents than ever before (43%). He'll have a lot of work to do if he gets the nom.Trump isn't campaigning for independent voters at the moment. When the time comes, he will persuade them as well. Trump is campaigning on Identity. The others are campaigning on Analogy or Reason and Identity beats those every time.
They are the exception. My wife's entire family are Independents and 100% support Trump, mostly bc they realize he's the only candidate with enough name recognition (the name of the game nowadays) to beat Hildabeast.
I'm surprised that Cruz isn't -20 something. They are the exception.

Trump is an arrogant, no-substance, blowhard. But that beats a dishonest, negligent, murderer any day of the week. The fact that people are mocking Trump like they are yet sit silently about Hilary's wrongdoings shows the mindset of many in this country. Trump is not a racist. But even if he was, people are more angry about that than Hilary basically letting our service people be killed. Think about that for a minute. I saw someone on Facebook equate racism to rape saying that if you don't stand up to people that are racist, it's the same thing as standing idly by as a rapist is raping a woman. So in liberals' mind, physically assaulting someone is the same as having prejudice thoughts towards others because of the race/ethnicity/gender/sexual orientation/etc. SMDH.
In regards to Palin's endorsement, I kind of agree with bleed here in that Palin will definitely get some voters to the polls. But I think the effect might be negated by those that would have thought about supporting Trump before Palin endorsed him. The media did everything they could to tear Palin apart. They called her all kinds of stuff, lied about her and acted like she's the dumbest person on the planet (hello Joe Biden!). The left wing media knew Palin wasn't a threat in the future to hold a national public office, but they knew she had some power based on her conservative values, her looks and her charisma. So they planted the seed 8 years ago. It worked as Palin is constantly demonized.
In regards to how things are going to shake out. I'm impressed by 71-00's balls. But I'm not sure I'd make that bet. I think he forgets how out of touch the 20 somethings are with reality. Now, granted, the blacks are not going to come out like they did for Obama and I'm guessing that's what 71 is banking on. But you've still got the clueless 20 somethings that will blindly follow the path of democrats. Because they're not old enough to know the negative effects those policies can have on the entire society. As Dennis Prager cites, young people are looking for what feels good rather than what does good.
Currently I'm in the Ted Cruz camp. I don't love him (I don't think I even like him), but of the three with a real shot at winning (Rubio, Trump or Cruz), he's the one I can most easily support (I'm warming up to Chris Christie though - wish he could get more support). I like watching Trump speak and I like the effect he's having. He's making conversations happen that wouldn't be happening otherwise. And I like that he's not scared to say what he wants to say. But ask yourself this, would you want that kind of personality representing the Carolina football or basketball program. I imagine most of you, even the staunch Trump supporters, would say "no".
Lastly, I read somewhere that Mitt was entertaining the idea of another run. I think it's too late now but what are y'all's thoughts on that?
So with all this negative outlook on Trump, he is exactly 2.5% behind Hillary and the campaign hasn't even started. They are the exception.

I like to see that a bet got hammered out here. I must say I'd prefer to be on gteeitup's side of the wager, even though I'm pulling for 71's side of the wager. The betting site I use has Hillary as a -125 favorite to win the whole thing. I think Trump is around +300 or so.
My rationale is right along with GSD's. The 20 somethings (I'm a 20 something but feel offended by getting lumped into this crowd) are so focused on what feels right, and what they see in the media (and social media). Trump says a lot of things that can easily be headlines that at first glance look bad. Hillary is much better at blowing roses up everyone's @$$ and telling them what they want to hear. Image is all they care about. They won't vote for Trump, and will criticize you if you say you will, solely on the grounds of "we can't have someone that abrasive in office". And will vote for Hillary because she has all this experience being a politician, so that must translate to President, right?
They don't stop to think what each would be like doing all the things that need to be done as President. Or who would actually be the better president. It's all about image.
I do think it's pretty simple though. If you like the way the country has been run for the past 8 years, vote Hillary - it will be more of the same with her. If you'd like to mix it up, and not get another typical politician in there and see what we can do with some fresh opinions, vote for her opponent.

I need a link to this website. This is easy money @ +300.
General election polls that precede party nominations have repeatedly proven to be worthless predictors. Just sayin'.So with all this negative outlook on Trump, he is exactly 2.5% behind Hillary and the campaign hasn't even started.
I really do think though that it will be Biden or outside shot at the Bern and neither of those guys has a shot either (Biden probably has best shot as long as they don't allow him to talk).
My betting site only has the PARTY odds of winning the Presidential election.
Republican +120
Democrat -185
Any other party +5000
I already dropped some change on the red guys.
