Ask @Raising Heel, he'll tell you all about it. He's the one who went on a quest to catch all the Pokemon.
So I'm gathering that it's basically geocaching?

Close enough. So I'm gathering that it's basically geocaching?
All day kids have been walking up and down main street playing that game.Kids got me doing it now and i'm hooked. Dont try it. Its the heroin of the gaming world
Either way, it's only a matter of time with this game. We should take bets on which state will claim the first fatality. I'm thinking maybe Oregon. You've got some big city traffic, some dangerous wilderness, and plenty of hipster millennials.
Actually, I came to Canada to get away from that crap. It's outlawed here. I'm literally a first mover.Ask @Raising Heel, he'll tell you all about it. He's the one who went on a quest to catch all the Pokemon.
We haven't heard from heelman since he made this poast. I hope he's okay out there...Kids got me doing it now and i'm hooked. Dont try it. Its the heroin of the gaming world

I need an intervention
I am just as in the dark.I have no idea what this thread is about. I mean, I know what Pokemon is. But can someone explain what you all are talking about?
Ok so I downloaded and up and running, but I don't get it. The map shows a couple of the little fukkers, but when I switch to camera mode and walk around, I can't ever find them. What am
I doing wrong?
Five star thread
I haven't tried it yet and I don't plan to try it either. I'm also one of the 15 people in the world that hasn't downloaded candy crush.Okay, I'm officially convinced everyone is playing this game. Two employees at the company I work for, one who's 34 and one who's 45 are playing it on their lunch break. The best way I can describe these two guys is......they are just the complete opposite of someone you'd expect to play anything pokemon-related. One goes hunting every single weekend, and the other coaches football.
It's nuts how this is everywhere. And what's more is.....you have someone like me who LOVES the Gameboy Pokemon games and I haven't even gotten into this Pokemon Go at all.
I don't get the whole walking around playing a game thing. Personally, I like to look where I'm walking. I don't like getting hit by a bus or falling off a cliff. My guess is at some point they are going to get sued, because someone is going to get seriously hurt playing this game. I know that will make @TarHeelNation11 happy since he loves frivolous lawsuits so much.I have never played candy crush either.
I've also lost interest in Pokemon Go less than a week after downloading it (as I expected). The main problem for me is that in order to play the game I need to be moving around. When I want to play games is when I'm just sitting somewhere (downtime at work, on the train into work, relaxing at home, etc.). It defeats the purpose of playing a game for me when I can only do it when I'm walking somewhere (or worse, driving somewhere).
So now we need to find the other 13?I haven't tried it yet and I don't plan to try it either. I'm also one of the 15 people in the world that hasn't downloaded candy crush.
If it wasn't sad and pathetic for an adult to play the game I might play it myself to get a free vacation.Unreal -- so all we have to do to "See the world" is catch all the Pokemon? F*ckin' lame...
