They start mostly juniors and seniors, so they may care more than if they were a younger team.

Remember how mad Brownell got last year when we beat them in OT down there? I'm sure he does. Yeah, his ire seemed to be aimed at Kennedy - arguably the nicest guy on our team - and Kennedy is gone. But that doesn't mean Brownell won't use that as another way to rile up his team to a high pitch.

I just scanned back to our last loss to Clemson. 2010. Brownell wasn't coach yet.

Looks like Brownell has NEVER beaten Roy. You know he wants it bad.

I'm more in the category of "I don't really care." It's a great feat to have, but if we lose, it's really not that big of a deal to me. If the streak ended tomorrow, I don't think there's an active streak today that can touch the one we have in any of our lifetimes.

Streaks are meant to be broken. If they don't do it tomorrow, they're bound to do it someday.

Yep.

Enjoy it while it lasts, but don't take it too seriously.

I agree that it is I a pretty cool record and I do get some mileage using it to needle Clemson fans, but it ultimately means very little. The day the streak ends just gives me the upper limit of my taunt, lol!

Go Tar Heels and keep it going!

Now that I know they have NEVER won in Chapel Hill, I feel more strongly that we need to keep the streak going.

Plus, since the streak apparently began in 1926, we are getting close to

A 100-Year Shutout!

A Century of Dominance!

That's worth aiming for.

The streak is nice, but I'm more concerned with the quality of play for the Heels, the effort they bring to the court and what a win over a top 20 team would mean for their tournament resume.

This is also my exact feeling.

I care about the streak, it is a heck of a thing but I am thinking much more about beating Clemson than about a streak. I am concerned about how we execute and will take the time to enjoy the streak "if" we get the win and I do think we get the win and the streak continues.

If we were undefeated in the conference, sitting 2-3 games ahead of the #2 team and we were to lose at home to them, I wouldn't care one bit. (OK, technically not true, as I NEVER want UNC to lose!)

As it is now, however, we NEED to win this game to move up in the conference standings and they are ahead of us. I don't care about the streak nearly as much as I care about our position in the conference and winning a crucial ACC game.

I dont care but unfortunately when its broken, as i expect it will be tonight, its gonna get a lot of play nationally. Gird yourselves.

My concern is that we ph, ps, pt ... do this and win/lose l am grateful .....

Go Tar Heels!!!!!!!

The fall-out and the subsequent non-stop mentions are what I am most worried about when the streak finally ends. Every loss bothers me, but the ones they won't stop mentioning just start to eat at you. This is why I wanted that punk Cry Me A. Rivers to get punched when he ran off at the mouth the other night!

Go Tar Heels; put it off another year!
