As a woman who has watched and enjoyed it with a partner or two before, I didn't have a problem with it until I watched Hot Girl Wanted on Netflix and that kind of changed my view on it.
Uhhhh yeah, it's a messed up industry that goes WAY beyond the "innocent pleasure" thing that most guys (including many on here) consider it to be.
I'm in Port au Prince monthly and have been for the last 9 days continuing work with an organization that helps to free child sex slaves and stop sex trafficking crimes. I cannot stomach the porn industry or the flippant approach that most have toward it.
I agree. I would look at it and was so detached from the reality and emotional aspect of it and never considered the young ladies in it or why or how they got there. I say very few are doing it because they simply enjoy it. I even considered it years ago just because of the financial struggles I had but so glad I didn't follow through with it. I took an entirely different direction and Looked to God and that direction guided me to something so much better than that road ever would have taken me.
I commend you on this approach - it's not a popular one on OOTB but you have the different perspective as a woman and that's great. Most guys 'rub one out' when they're bored, stressed, lonely, depressed, horny, etc etc .. not thinking about who is on the other side of their habit. There are so many horrible layers to the porn industry and the way it portrays/treats women is just one of them, although one of the worst.

Another thing I never considered is that watching porn alters your brain and eventually you are unable to have a sexual relationship with someone you love without needing the dopamine stimulation you get from porn. It will make it difficult sometimes to have healthy, loving relationships. I know I got to the point where I could only have sex with someone as long as I didn't have emotional feelings for them and then when I was in a relationship with a man I loved I was not as satisfied sexually every time and I would have to think about the things that I had seen in porn that turned me on to enjoy it or just fake it so he wouldn't know and take care of my desires later. I became someone I didn't like anymore. I have had to abstain completely now and it's difficult sometimes and I'm always tempted to call on an younger "friend" to enjoy it again but I don't want that life back so I pray REAL hard!!!!
I see a few of my male friends as having similar issues in that they need to seek out women they know they may not ever get emotionally real close to but they can have sex with. They find plenty of these women on adult hook up sites and sadly those women are in the same boat.... I know I was anyway.
Now with the increased awareness of child sex trafficking I really don't understand how anyone could desire porn now knowing that girl could be someone forced to do that against her will or doing it willingly but not having a clue of what it ultimately takes from her soul.
I know a few of the guys on here will make jokes about this thread but when or if it ever hits close to home for you, you'll see it in a new light.
Another thing usually not considered is the sexual dysfunction it can eventually lead to especially as you age. It makes erections more difficult to achieve with actual intercourse which then leads to the use of Viagra or Cialis all of which have other side effects so basically we have created a lot of issues that start out "so simple" but inevitably lead to things no one ever considers.
Your post is 100% accurate ... like I said, SOOOOO many negative levels to regular use of porn, by men or women.

Yes but how much moderation is necessary for watching young ladies that may be in the porn movie against her will and you're stroking one out watching her? I think that is what the OP is about. I simply admitted my own part in it too because women do it too and how it takes us down a slippery slope that end up debasing sex. You're a guy so I doubt you'll get it anyway.

If there is such a thing, then I would say the people watching it have gone way beyond moderation already. There is a lot of money in the porn industry. Just like there is a lot of money in the illegal drug trade, and alcohol, and gambling, and FOOD industry. Just about anything that can be done to excess has a potentially high profit margin. The motivation for the indiscretions and the criminal activity is driven by profit/money, not the behavior itself.
Not that I've watched porn myself, but I assume some of it has dudes in it too. Does no one in this thread care about the male actors being objectified and taken advantage of? Aren't those guys somebody's sons? Double standard much?

All kidding aside here from my point of view -- to each his/her own. If that is the lifestyle they feel is necessary to make ends meet or if they just flat out enjoy it that much, by all means, go for it. I, personally, would never date anyone who was involved with that. I'm not into sloppy seconds, much less sloppy thousands!

I'm curious (yes, again).... But how many who are okay with porn, which some say is in the immoral column for sexual behaviors, are NOT okay with people who are homosexual and believe they are immoral??
Do a little research bro, the porn industry is full of current and prior actirs and actresses who talk at lengths about the abuse that goes on. Nothing to do with frequency of use on your end.
Gambling habit? I guess so. I have placed $875 worth of bets in 2016 (I only bet on NCAAF and BB and a little golf majors when I can watch). Oh and I'm +$465 for the year. Household income is close to $200k and we'll give away approx $42k this year, so I'm not too worried about that "habit." Thanks for bringing that up, reminded me to collect from someone!
I disagree with both. I think both are immoral. But it's also not my place to decide what someone else's life choice should be. Just don't force it down my throat and act like I'm an abomination for not accepting something that is wrong IMHO. Just live your life, I'll live mine. That's my take on it.

We prefer amateur porn anyway. Consenting adults not profiting from "the industry" providing free entertainment to other consenting adults. Not that we have a prob with the pros. We just find the amateur more erotic. Btw every single couple i know good enough to ask has porn. And alcohol in their house. And a gun.
