The video made me think a bit of Armando. Not a lot of elevation, but gets the job done around the basket.

Bacot is likely in the NBA dictionary as the poster person for playing below the rim. If there were a stat for ":shots blocked by rim" he would likely lead that category and explains prolly 20+% of his offensive rebounds. Bless his heart.

I would take Tyson over Stephenson, mainly because he really wanted to be a Heel & Stevenson did not. Secondly because he shoots the 3 ball better than Stevenson (maybe not statistically, but possibly) & with a much longer lineup around him for rim protection & help defense, I think he would be less of a defensive liability. Also, another year here he might have a little more confidence & hit that 3 like he did at Belmont. Just thinking out loud but give me Tyson over Stevenson every day & twice on Sunday.

Depending who comes back and which portal guys sign, there might be a lot of 3s on this roster. Powell, Powell, Catchings (lets say 2 of 3 at at UNC next year). I've seen some say Caleb Wilson can play the 3(?). There's a lot already there. And that's not counting Trimble, who I think is a wing more than he's a guard.

If it's my choice between Stevenson and Tyson, I'm taking Stevenson. And I don't think Stevenson is all that good. I would rather have his frame as a true 4 than Tyson who is a true 3, that probably can't guard high level 3s and certainly would struggle guarding 4s of any skill level.

I don't think Tyson could come close to beating out Stephenson, not close in my humble opinion. I prefer Catchings, if he chooses another suitor, would like Stephenson.

I was really hoping Tyson would go to the portal. Hasn't as of yet.

We have 15 total scholarships under new NCAA rules. We only used 11 scholarships this past season. I'm fine with Tyson staying to get his degree. Just don't waste anymore NIL money on him.

Meeks and Bacot got a ton of rebounds off their own misses but there is a long list of guys who missed bunnies and lost possession .
