Portal crap I mean news

5 OL are transferring, one graduating, but only one xfer was a starter - the Left tackle.

Three of the OL guys transferred in just last yr! Greenberg actually played a tiny bit, but Leftwich didn't see much time.

They've brought in a bunch of OL guys to try and compete for spots. Hard to tell if they'll be better or worse since they all seem like diamond-in-rough type of picks.

The portal sucks for the sport in the current state. The left tackle came for a single yr, and now is making a ton of money apparently at Texas Tech even this his onfield play here wasn't that great. Is that that future? You find guys that can help for a single season knowing that if they're good enough they'll jump to the pros or a bigger paycheck?
well, there's no question that major college athletics has suddenly become an actual business. There is something wrong with our laws that do not allow the paying entities to collectively set limits.

They can set limits any time they want. All they have to do is not pay the price. Find another option. What we've seen so far is throwing money around doesn't always work (see FSU and TX A&M)

note the word 'collectively' that I purposely included. 'Collectively' indicates 'not individually', and the reasons for addressing this collectively rather than individually should be obvious.. If it isn't, I'll be glad to point some of them out.
