As an Arizona student, you're full of shit. If you're gonna bash my school and claim that they're doing things illegally without providing any factual information and hiding behind a username, you're a joke. Sean Miller has run one of the cleanest programs in the nation since he's been here and frankly I hope UNC can get him when Roy retires.
Arizona has won more games than any school in the last 3 years, puts guys in the NBA, and has the best weather and best looking girls in the country, God forbid an 18 year old kid would want to go there without receiving something in return

It isn't an opinion. It's taken from someone who knows Rawle VERY VERY well. I live 5 subway stops from where he grew up.
Read my post above. I have never claimed to know anything inside with any kid...but this recruitment being the one exception because I know people involved with the kid. Sorry this upsets you to hear, but it's factual. I don't really know what else to tell you.
Im a born and raised Wake County native. Mom got her Masters at Kenan and gramps is in the Ram's club. I went to my first game in 2000 against Maryland and got Julius Peppers's autograph after the game and I was hooked ever since. I wear my Carolina blue proudly on campus even when Arizona has been having better seasons. But im glad choosing to stay in state and not fork over $40k a year out of state to go to UNC makes me less of a fan in your book.
If someone is gonna make a stupid claim about Sean Miller being a cheater with nothing to back it up I'm gonna call them out, sorry.
My roommate works in the athletic department and my best friend played on the football team. I also have several classes with Kaleb Tarczewski. If theyre receiving anything illegal theyre doing a pretty damn good job of hiding it
I agree. Most schools are very good at covering this up. And not every kid gets paid, but some do across America and there is simply no arguing that.
Of course they do. But what I dont understand is why even with the PJ and LMac situations a few years ago alot of this board assumes every elite school other than UNC is doing it

Its surprising to see UNLV for me too. Id think theyd be really careful what they were doing though after the microscope Jerry Tark put them under from the NCAA. Plus its not that crazy to wonder why a bunch of young adults would want to live in Vegas

Just for the record: Zona plays in a garbage conference so I'm not surprised they've won a lot of games in the last 3 years, yes they have put people in the NBA, the AZ weather sucks, no thanks on the 115 degree days (and don't give me the old "But its a dry heat!" BS), and I can't attest to the UofA girls, but I can attest that the UNC ones are some of the best I've seen on a college campus.
It is a little disingenuous to allude to a coach being shady without proof - I'll agree with that. But if anyone thinks they'd know for sure if a classmate or something was getting impermissible benefits I'd suggest to think again. Not everyone that gets something is going all Marvin Austin and letting the world know.

There is never proof. You can't bring charges to a program with hearsay. But let's watch next year if Rawle's family has moved out of Canarsie to a nicer neighborhood. I'd be willing to bet they do based on what I've heard from a former coach.
Hana I agree with you on the weather. Went to AZ a couple years a go to watch an NFL game, it was October and scorching. Dry heat or no dry heat, it's friggin hot. San Diego is perfect weather.
Arizona is hot. But, their women are too. Though I suspect every area besides West Virginia and Kentucky has their fair share of hot women. = )

Been to AZ many times myself since a buddy of mine is from Scottsdale, and the weather might be clear, but 120 sux rocks! NC weather is better, the girls are both great, and UNC is the best U in the world! These are the facts!

I love NC. I dont miss playing Chapel Hill country club in july though. Y'all can keep the humidity, ill keep my pool parties in january in AZ
