Europe clearly outplayed us by a mile ...they hit all the shots and made EVERYTHING in sight. They have the formula... whatever it is.... and we are playing catch up. They are 9-3 in the last 12 Ryder Cups. The BRIGHT spot for the US is the fact that we do have some serious passionate young players that will go thru a brick wall to win. Thomas , Finau and Reed...plus Speith and possibly DeShampoo can form the core of Ryder cups for many years to come.

It Is a foregone conclusion that Stricker will captain in 20...he is a native of Wisconsin and that is where the matches will be played. Lets hope he does a much better job than Furyk who I love but frankly did an overall bad job this year

I agree but only cuz I think Tiger's body only has so many tournaments left in it. Whether it's 10 or 100, I don't want to waste them on Ryder/Presidents Cups.

this would’ve been the perfect year to start that process...next time, i don’t believe either one will be in the top 8, so once again, it’ll be up to the captain...i believe we have plenty of talent to beat that squad, it’s really about course setup and putting...that was the ideal course to beat us.
