Wendell Carter currently 100% dook on crystal ball but Harrison Barnes probably was too at this stage. Any way cut the dookie a little slack cause he may be one of the one's who also accept the reality of FB.

I have to commend you on your choice of friends. I have to say there was probably somebody(ies) out there who knew something on 7th and you could have been one. Some posters on here are a bit touchy.
I was one of the few that kept believing we had a great shot. I had NO inside info, but I liked our chances. I loved the pukie's good news and took it as confirmation of what I was feeling. I really don't care if pukies ever come back here because it is worth it to me to lose the 1 or 2 good ones to get rid of the vast majority of smug morons! BUT this guy hasn't done anything so far so I welcome him here.
BTW: we KNOW that many "insiders" are blowing smoke because they need the esteem boost, please don't insult our intelligence if you really do come in peace! We also KNOW that kids change their minds so sometimes perfectly good tidbits turn out incorrect!
We got another good one despite the nervous nancys and naysayers that populate our boards and we also KNOW that they will not give Roy the credit he deserves for overcoming adversity NO other coach could overcome!

And, I learned over time our insiders in this board are someone who heard somethibg usually 3rd or 4th hand and extrapolated the information greatly to try and come to a conclusion. The Dennis Smith is a good example. Because bam said he was a roy guy all the sudden he is going to unc? That is highly extrapolated.

Guys I did not mean to clown anybody on this board trust me there are guys on the Duke boards who think they know a lot and they don't. I did know Woods would be choosing you guys over USC despite some of you not believing me. Carter will choose Duke unless something crazy happens and I don't see it happening. As far as Alkins goes I'm not sure. I'm not one who will come over here as a Duke fan and talk about a recruit I'm not sure of. I have heard that he is a NC State lean right now but that is from others.
Anytime Crimson Ghost. Even though I'm a Duke fan I like seeing you guys get some good recruits because when UNC and Duke are both really good it makes the rivalry better. Like I said the only info I would have on a UNC recruit is if Duke was also recruiting the same recruit which happens a lot. That's why I know the info I know about Carter.

You invoked Clints name to establish your Cred yet Clint himself said that he didn't know, the family nor the kid were talking to anyone. Truth is NO ONE, you included, knew until last night, he called Frank martin and Roy to let them know.
Now as for Carter, so you are already saying it is a done deal to duke, this way early point in his recruitment and yet already calling him for duke. I find that really interesting considering the NCAA issue with us will be cleared by the time he is ready to commit, our punishment or lack there of will be know by then. We will be losing at least 2 front court players and maybe as many as 4. Considering we already have one of his team mates committed to UNC and we are hard recruiting another, excuse me if I take exception to your calling that a done deal for duke.

Our getting Udoka would help us much more than hurt us Bur. Even if Carter didn't start he would get starter minutes, we lose Brice & Joel after this season and we could easy lose Meeks and maybe Hicks as well depending on how they play this season.
I don't think he said Carter is a done deal but every recruiting site I looked at (and I look at a lot) has him a Heavy dook lean. It doesn't mean that he doesn'tat least like Carolina and it doesn't mean that some event couldn't turn him to us or someone else. A lot of these kids unfortunately have a hard on for dook right now.As far as knowing Seventh was committing to us , hey it's possible. I guarantee somebody knew other than the family cause nobody is that tight lipped probably started slipping out 'bout 8 a.m. or so. As far as Carter goes it will not matter if you guys get punished or not from the NCAA he will be a Blue Devil. Now I get that's coming from several Duke sources but many other teams best sources will tell you Duke is way out in front. Could he change his mind? Sure we are dealing with 16 and 17 year old kids but I am very confidant that he will be at Duke for his one year of college ball. Duke is trying to put together another top recruiting class in 2017. I know this is a UNC board but it can not be denied that the Duke Brand has never been higher.
Heel fan I agree IMO the 2017 class is going to be another deep and talented class. Maybe not on the same level as 2016 but there is plenty of talent that's for sure.
Yeah I seen him play...in high school!!..these guys will have a year of college basketball under their belts...you have no idea how his game will pan out in college!!

If you want to post "inside information" here, you still need to remember that this is a Carolina board and you need to post accordingly. That means, if you feel like our insiders are full of shit, keep it to yourself. If you want to talk about how great duke is and their current recruiting, do it at the duke board. If you want to give us inside information on our recruits, by all means, do it. But don't expect me or anyone else here to fall over ourselves to thank you for your suspect information.
