Several NCAA assistant basketball coaches arrested

So if a mod is keeping score thats twice hes personally attacked a poaster calling him stupid and now a piece of shit. Interesting since i was once locked out of a thread with a stern talking to for calling him a closet dookie in jest.
The only thing you did wrong there was the "in jest" part.

Was he being "escorted"?

Go back to the dook board.

Really? That's all you got? I guess that's what this all boils down to. I don't agree or believe you on most of your opinions or recruiting on Carolina basketball and I actually attempt to have discussions with opposing fans. Therefore I'm #1 on your hate list.

Well guess what gar, you don't have any control over me or where I decide to post. So I'll stick around thank you very much. But by all means keep trying to intimidate me. It's quite amusing.

There is absolutely no way that the usual suspects arent involved here. Its just a matter of who is willing to tell what and getting the proof.

It still wouldn't surprise me if Kansas was somehow caught up in this somehow. Addidas sponsored, lots of high profile recruits, etc. nothing's sacred anymore in this sport.
you ever watch "Sole Man" 30 for 30? this has been going on for 30+ years, no school being involved would surprise me.

@Steat anything regarding UNC in this?

Does any of this touch into a blueblood such as Kansas or others?
Hello Steat, would you mind clearing this up. Are you saying UNC is the reason Sanky was removed as head of COI or UNC is NOT the reason Sankey was removed as head of the COI?

Stankey was not removed. There was an option to vote him in for an addtional term (which he wanted) but he got no votes. It was what you would call a "no confidence" vote. I think it was a number of things they were disatisfied with. I cannot say it had anything to do with the UNC situation. If I was a betting man, I would bet that the way he handled the UNC situation didn't help his cause.

Haven't seen it but I'll have to at some point. I personally believe all the major schools bend the rules. But if addidas was giving out bribes to steer athletes how can anyone say Nike and UA weren't doing the same? It's more likely than not.

From a u of l forum... I'm telling you now this is funny. I wish I had material like this I would be a 1,000,000 comedy act

and entrapped Louisville assistant coaches in Vegas. 100s of Billions are at stake here. NIke is a $30B company This is not a small game.

Nike has inside with FBI and knew the investigation going on. They used their handlers and connections to push Bowen to Louisville, and entrapped Louisville assistants with their plan in the last phases of the investigation, that was not even remotely about Louisville.

Nike devised the plan to help sink both Louisville and Adidas, when they were spurned by Louisville in apparel contracts. Adidas had a rising profile among the college apparel industry and making strides to threaten Nike market share and $100 million stake. Nike had the opportunity to sink the largest Adidas contract in college sports, along with Adidas, their largest competitor.

If you think that's funny you should read the thread on pack pride about this. They set the gold standard for conspiracy theories.

Problem is this FBI investigation began in 2015 and Nike is as well caught up in it, this was not about Nike vs Addias. IMHO this was the FBI watching for years the NCAA turn a blind eye to these things, I just wonder if and hope they dig deep enough to be able to remove the entire cancer.

Dickie V gave an very passionate and sad response to Pitino etc this am. He ALSO indirectly but did NOT name k and the doochies but referred to the geniuses who can reclassify in June and be admitted two months later.... Obvious Bagley reference as a real problem as well

I wonder about a asst coach who scooted out of soonerville few yrs ago & wound up in krooksville ...

Also keep an eye on LSU basketball. They're recruiting way over their head. Naz Reid 5 star PF from New Jersey just recently committed to LSU. Guess what the other finalist was Arizona. Yeah a big time high school kid from New Jersey just dreams of playing basketball in the Bayou. Also rumored to be leading for Darius Days. Like I said when highly regarded prospects start going to unusual places something is up. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure this stuff out but the NCAA looks really bad in all of this. Nobody can tell me they didn't know. They turned a blind eye to the pay for play scandal. The NCAA is in the business of making money and we all know they were too busy investigating Carolina for the last decade about a African American studies major meanwhile cleared Bagley in less then a month and Johnny Manziel in less then a week.
