Polino wasn't in the participation report. And Khaleil Rodgers has been playing a bunch even with Polino start, like v Dook.

We might be on target to lose 4 starters from the OL to graduation.

2018 the interior OL might be super young and inexperienced with Prince, Rodgers, Cam all graduating, so should we play McCargo more reps in practice for next yr in recognizing defenses and executing blocks/plays?

Normally I say play to win, rather than to develop the next yr, but i'm giving up hope of a bowl gm. I'd say UVA, Pitt, WCU might be the only games we can win on the remaining schedule... is it worth keeping McCargo on the bench?

I think we lose to UVA and Pitt

^ then we might as well start McCargo, and play Polino instead of Prince or Rodgers once he is healthy (or whatever).

And perhaps should start bulking up Surratt to play LB or hback.

Fine with me. Let the lacrosse team play. The season is over.

see if mccargo can step in at guard as well...i'm for playing all these dudes now.

why not cross train all interior linemen at this point?

I'd like to see him on the field more. He's a projected, likely starter next season. If not at center, maybe guard?

And is Hatton fool's gold? The guy disappeared 2 years in a row without explanation as far as fans know. I am sure the coaches know and they still like him. When he's healthy, maybe he'll start next year at center, and we have Billy Ross and Brian Anderson, both recruited as potential centers.

Next year's O-line: Sweet and McCargo are likely starters and I'd say Polino since he's playing now.

Questions: will Heck start next year or someone else beat him out?

Will Hatton pan out?

Marcus Mckethan is on the travel squad? Raw recruit with tremendous size and athleticism....will he emerge or the other guy on the travel squad?

Jonah Melton? If he's as good as advertised as a recruit, gotta think he may well break into the starting line-up next season.

Sweet, Polino, McCargo or Hatton at center, Melton, Heck or McCargo or McKethan...my guesses for starting O-line next season.

Nothing but rumors, it seems, regarding Hatton. But yeah, I don't see how we can count on him. He wasn't around all fall camp... so probably hasn't been working out, definitely hasn't been practicing. Interior OL is going to be very young next yr without him.

All the more reason to play McCargo more but Cam has become a leader, I think, for the unit. So may not happen unless he gets some time at guard.

We'll be young. Polino is getting experience, however. Be good to get Mason Veal some time on the field along with McCargo. If we do that, at least those guys will have some experience.

Hoping Jonah Melton can crack the starting line-up next season. He'll be brand new but if good enough to get the start, it'd be very nice to have the same RG, say, for a few years. The thing about being young is if they are good, we could have a very solid and dominant O-line develop and remain for some time.

Seemed like Polino played most of the Miami gm when Khaliel got hurt, and it felt like he did a pretty good job.
