So this might sound like sour grapes but I promise you it's not but I won't watch the CFP games. I honestly don't give a rat about any of the teams in the final four so why waste my time watching it? Don't care who wins it.
Yeah I wanted to win this one really bad but the lack of depth is rearing its ugly head. I actually told my wife tonight that Clemson is about 5 years ahead of where Carolina hopefully will be. Still feeling the burn of sanctions.
Proud to be a Heels fan no matter what happens tonight. But MW is not in the game mentally. Please put in Mitch. Dang Fedora. Loyalty to a one senior compared to doing what is best for the team.

Now we know why Clemson has had the best defense in college football the last two years because they are solid everywhere. Their pass rush is like a NFL team and they play a man to man coverage that has blanketed the Heel receivers all night.
So being 20+ scholarships short on the roster has nothing to do with depth? I'm not reaching for any damn thing. How about you quit you over reactions and step away from the damn ledge.
Look, we haven't faced this kind of defense all year long so what did we realistically expect? Did we really think Clemson would roll over and let us put up 50 on them? Sorry, as bad as they may have looked at times, they are not #1 for nothing.

As great as this season has been, we are playing a better team who is better prepared to be at this level. We aren't there yet, but even as bad as it is, we are still fighting and that sure means a lot to me. MW is way off on his passes and our defense, although WAY better than last year, still has its problems and Clemson has exposed them.
See! We get a pick and are still fighting. Win or lose, this team is light years better than anything we have seen in years. It sucks we are getting rolled, but dang if this hasn't been one heck of a seaon.
But it ain't over just yet! Let's see how it will play out.

Clemson is good but Williams has looked tight all night... Not saying outcome would be any different but Mitch looked 1000 times better on 1 play them Marquise looked in 3 quarters.... Hell of a season to the Coastal Division Champs!!!!

Depth has zero to do with the outcome tonight. We are simply outmatched man on man in a lot of key spots. Clemson is very good and we can't seem to maintain any drives on offense which is keeping our defense on the field for extended periods. We aren't getting a push on D which is allowing Watson to do whatever the hell he wants to do. Take that uphill climb into consideration and then we have a head coach who makes a fake punt call like that.....we need all the help we can get right now.
