Tony Woods Improvement

A Bradley/Woods hybrid would be fun to watch. Can you imagine someone Bradley's size doing that spin move. Ridiculous.

What areas of Tony game do you think he needs to work on during the off season.

Well smoovey, if ya talking about Tony Bradley, pretty easy to see where he needs to improve. Really needs to hit the weight room to add both strength as well as bulk, 15-20lbs in the next off season would do this kid a ton for his ability to fight and establish position down in the paint. Really needs to work on his stamina with the thought that he is very likely to be called on for close to 30mins a game next season so lots of cardio between now and then.

As for skill development, right now he is a close to the basket guy, stick backs and dunks are his scoring moves. Needs to really work on a jump hook, would be really nice for him to be able to go to that with both hands but at least 1 would be really helpful. I would as well like to see him work on a face up mid range jumper10ft and in. Finally, should be going to the free throw line a lot next season, work on getting some arch on those free throw shots, shoots them to flat right now.

Tony the Tiger Woods needs to get his back right or he will never again be GRRRRREAAATT!

Now if you are talking about 7th Woods, 3 things are IMO critical, it starts with jump shooting. Can you imagine just how much a ironed out jump shot would add to this kid's ability to drive? If teams have to play him for the drive his adding the ability to catch and shoot or catch put it on the floor and stop & pop would be deadly! With this kid's work ethic, I have no doubt he will be the first one in the gym putting up hundreds of jumpers until he is able to trust it and shoot them without hesitation. Hang with Joel Berry, let him guide you thru what it takes, do what he did to iron out his jump shooting.

Next, related to the jump shooting, work on those free throws young man, get a solid routine down, you are rushing them now and do not have a good repeatable routine prior to the shot.

Third, ball handle drills, tighten up those handles, you get out of control with them at times, don't try to play to fast that you cannot control the ball.

So indefinitely means 1 and WTF is Now WDP? I think I am getting the hang of this youngster lingo!

BTW: We need Tony and 7th to get in the gym and make that patented UNC skill jump! Both could use some Jonas work and both need to work on position related skills so I understand combining them!

Smooth...go in an edit your title to save yourself from excessive ridiculing..:)
