So how many years do we get out of Mack?

Depends on if he's able to get the job done. If he does good enough to decide his own fate, then I think we could get five years.

All coaches have goals. I think Mack has 2 major goals at UNC. The first is become the all time winningest coach. That will happen next year.

The second goal is to win the ACC.

Now that I think about it, I bet he has a 3rd major goal: coach the 1st UNC team to win a 'major' bowl.
