That's the same old tired crap many said about Brice-Zeller and many others. IF they don't improve under Roy they don't want to. I see plenty of want-to in Meeks.
The problem is, developing and improving usually loses when that abuts against being a high draft pick. There are plenty of players who would benefit from returning to college but when the siren song of the NBA calls, it's hard to turn it down. That's especially problematic when you include agents telling late 2nd rounders that they'll be drafted in the lottery. Adding a layer of difficulty is that the player doesn't even have to be that skilled yet. If they are talented and show potential, the NBA will take you.
Not that you don't know this, but I see a lot of people say, "he's not ready" but ready has virtually nothing to do with the NBA's or their decision.
