unc fb grad rate 14th in acc

Once again...what's the source? 2004-2009 is an incredibly small sample size. Jah Okafor, Justice Winslow, and Tyus Jones have not graduated yet. To my knowledge neither has Jabari Parker. And to my understanding, Justice has no plan of returning to campus. Guess- based on your "graphic", that is an anomaly.
You just have to leave school in good standing to graduate for these types of things. You don't actually have to graduate.

Stayed up to listen to the Heels play in Maui. Sometimes can't sleep if they're playing.
Ugh crap, I need to watch the Heels play a hoops game at some point this season... :/

My source is the NCAA. It's post #24 in this thread. I think you may be confused what the GSR is and how it is calculated. The GSR is not an all time rating. It pretty much goes year by year. Once you know how it works you'll understand why the GSR does not, as of yet, include the guys you named when determining their rating. And the graphic is not mine, someone else posted that but it's also accurate.

Now, if the 4 you mentioned don't graduate 4 to 6 years after their freshman year, it will then negatively impact Dukes basketball GSR.

It is not accurate. And frankly, I don't appreciate you attacking my intelligence. I know exactly what the GSR is- or as the graphic that you love so much refers to it- the GSRR.

I make graphics for a living. This particular graphic, which is the ONLY thing I am referring to, offers no sample size of years. There are no years listed on the graphic itself. Which could mean a multitude of things including that Duke Basketball has a 100% GSR all time. That is just frankly not the case.

I also understand why the players I mention would not be included in data. But I have inside information that at least one of them has no plans to return to campus.

If you want to defend Duke all day- you go right ahead. But this "graphic" is...at the very least, misleading.

Haha I wasn't insulting your intelligence, it's just the statements you are making don't reflect a knowledge of the GSR. It's not a knock. Calm down. Read the link I posted. It is accurate, I'm not here to defend Duke at all. If you don't like the numbers and think they are incorrect then take it up with NCAA. But it's an indisputable fact that the GSR is 100 for the reporting year of 2015.

And what I'm saying is that that the graphic is not accurate (which I know you didn't post). And, I am in fact, calm.

If the graphic is only referencing the reporting year of 2015, it should include the eligible years included in said reporting year. That's just common sense. But a poster posting that graphic, once again, is showing something that is A) Misleading and B) Could potentially if widespread be damaging to our institution, which I take issue with as we've had enough of that in the last six years.

If that doesn't make sense to a fellow Heel, I don't know what else to say.

I see what you mean, the graphic itself however comes from a news story about it for 2015. If one were to think that is all time, then yes, that would be incorrect. But the GSR for Duke is correct. I expect it won't stay that way now that they are in one and done recruiting mode and have been for a few years now.

If I didn't know better, I'd think you don't like basketball very much. I rarely miss a basketball or football game, even if it's just listening to the game on the radio.
Carolina Basketball is what made me a UNC fan (well that and my dad) when I was just 5 years old watching guys named Vince Carter and Antawn Jamison on TV.

But every year, I get into Carolina hoops less and less. It doesn't feel the same to me, and Lord knows it really probably don't feel the same to you older folks who grew up in the heyday of ACC basketball.

I watched every second of our ACCT and NCAAT run last season and watched probably 90% of our conference games, but I can't get into pre-conference play basketball. It's so dull to me. I haven't watched a second of UNC hoops this season. I probably won't until after bowl season.
