Says it was a hit and an unassisted put out at first base. Doesn’t make since at all

To clarify I talked with a guy who does some official score keeping at the Minor League level and he said if the ball hits a runner with no defender in the area the batter gets credited with a single then the runner is scored as an unassisted put out by said position player

Sucks for Haugh but I’m sure even he would say the W was more important the the no hitter
