This team appears lost. Any locker room rumors floating around? This would be an embarrassing loss.
If we lose the game, ol Roys little joke Of a lineup to start the game will make him look extra stupid tonight. You know daggum stupid.
Not sure about rumors but one of the biggest truths right now is Kennedy Meeks should sit and just give all his minutes to Hicks. He does ZERO consistently against anybody with a pulse and his effort is pathetic. I hope he goes pro kinda like JP Tokoto so he can get his ass out of the way.
31-37 BC at the half. Last 4 times with the ball 3 offensive fouls and a forced shot. Don't know if UNC can play any worse than the last 5 minutes. Also don't know even with 2 fouls why Paige played the last 5 minutes on the bench. Maybe playing down to their opponents or hustle taking BC too lightly.
That's harsh, but this is a game thread. I won't go that far, but he's easily been the biggest disappointment this season. Even more so than Marcus' cold spell.
Until Roy stands up for his players and takes a T we will continue to see refs punish us for being Carolina.
BC is awful. They played their best half of the season and even with that, you still see how terrible they are. The fact we are down 6 is an even bigger endictment on just how awful we were.

Also agree that ol Roy needs to light a fire under these refs. No less than 3 fouls called on us were phantom and Roy just stands there.
Yea I really don't see what Meeks offers that's so much better than Hicks ... Wasn't Meeks supposed to be the "best passing big man since.."? ..hell guess that wouldn't matter either since we don't knock down open treys on a consistent basis ... I wanna see the team that beat Maryland ..that team was cool
Thing is, I could actually see it get worse. People have lost confidence in their games. More of that maybe still to come. Is there a rift between any players or something? IDK

I have a bigger problem on the other end. Almost half of their shots are threes and about 25% of ours are and they have 9 FTs to our 1. We shot around the basket the entire half. When Berry got hipchecked OOB Roy asked the ref and he said something and Roy just said 'ok'. Needs to throw a fit now and then.
it's kind of a two-way street, though... if Roy would see some passion out of his players, then maybe he would get into the ref's bidness and show some fire himself
he is, quite possibly, the worst defender I have ever seen in a UNC uniform. Sadly he is competing with several of his current teammates for worst defenders ever.
