This team has one of the worst basketball IQ's I've ever seen. Lets jack 3 pointers with a 15 point lead and then leave the guy with the ball so he can shoot a wide open 3.

Not getting on Roy. But I just think that's what he teaches. He just feels that your percentage of making threes is less than making a two inside. It has always been that way. They go under screens. Help inside and leave open three point shooters. I just believe again that is what he teaches.

We're behind in terms of the evolution of basketball. We're a team that depends more on 10 foot - 20 foot shots... And those are some of the least efficient shots to take. We're sort of trying to reverse the evolution of basketball this year. We're going to be 2 big guys no matter what. Our idea of going small will be 3 guards, but that's just everyone's starting lineup today.

I'm not sure Roy ever has utilized the 3 point shot to his advantage as much as he should. If you think logically... UNC will typically get elite athletes. If they get a couple elite shooters and let those guys shoot the ball, we'll probably have a big advantage athletically without losing anything from 3. Also, we don't really have true post players. Brice is a mid post, turn around jump shooter... And Meeks isn't really a post player either. He's improved, but not there yet. Hicks is a face up player too. I think we're just a flawed offensive basketball team, but with the way we can get offensive rebounds, we can probably overcome that against most teams.

Also, the logic that a 3 point shot is longer than a 2 is just dumb. A 46-47% 3 point shooter is statistically as efficient as a player that shoots layups (in the NBA).

I just hope we eventually evolve with future recruiting classes.

We won by 11 with our best guy on the bench and nonsense reffing. We should have had 15 more attempts than NW but the game tally was tied at 19 each. Called us for ticky-tack crap 20+ feet from the hoop and ignored them fouling our guys when shooting inside for the most part.

I will take this win and smile doing it!
