Brandon Robinson has good energy but he literally Runs into other players in the half court offense. Like we do not practice spacing and proper movement without the ball? He looks like an idiot.
Ya. Top 50-60 guy who hasn't improved. Runs around like a spazz and chicken with his head cut off. Roy needs talent to run his system. Some of these dudes just don't fit here-like at all.
Yes. He was supposed to fill a Justin Jackson role somewhat , right? It’s like he has been told he is the 4th or 5th scoring option. So instead we pass it around until someone turns it over or we jack up a guarded 30 footer as the shot clock goes to zero.
And we now realize what I’ve said all along, having depth (bodies) vs quality depth are 2 totally different things. We have 6 players with a pulse and the rest are a rotating group of “chickens with their heads cut off” who look completely lost.
It's gonna be hard to reconstruct this roster, because our '16 and '17 classes are both our largest and least talented. For the next 2 years the open scholarships are going to come from our best players (Berry, Pinson, Williams, White, Little) leaving. Which is basically treading water.
We've become nothing but a jump shooting team that simply can't handle when a team puts on ball pressure on us. We fold up like a cheap suit.
He's working his way back after an injury . . be patient.
He was never going to play like Justin. I just wanted him to bomb 3pt shots - which I still think he can do, but we don't create any good looks on offense, which makes him a lot less useful.

Bunch of us bought into the hype of beating some crappy teams early on. No shame in that. We’re seeing now how short on talent we are though. We’ll get better. We lost to uva on the road last year. Fsu is damn good. Just quit expecting players to play beyond their skill set. Maye cant create a shot against skilled big men. Hes just not athletic enough. Our freshman bigs should be backing up someone and developing a few years before starting but we cant do that. Cam is a spot up shooter and nothing else. Fact is berry is prob the only player on our roster that would start for fsu, miami, dook, uva, or notre dame. It is what it is.
I watched him at Pitt. I am from Pittsburgh. This is what he has always been. A stationary 3 point jump shooter.
Dook is gonna run us off their floor and ours we are not even a sweet sixteen team more like. Round of 32 team man we suck
Kenny would start for a lot of teams. He's an outstanding 3-and-D role player.
Theo would as well.
Our problem is that we have a bunch of players who don't fit together. We have too many complementary players. Kenny fits well with Jackson. Theo fits well with Jackson. Kenny doesn't fit well with Theo.
Love our players but we suck on defense and are anemic on offense add to that uva just about beats us Everytime we play them Bennett's style is taylor made to shut UNC down. We really do look like hatchells team on d. Every team in America has to be licking their chops to get to play us because we leave people super wide open
I'll say this... Theo and Kenny fit well together early.

Could it be, adding another offensive player midway through the season doesn't work?
Shorten the bench, play small ball primarily and see where the chips fall. That’s our best bet. We are short on talent, especially offensively and can not afford to continue and play no less than 2 players on the floor at any given time who is ZERO threat offensively. We simply can’t do that.
Our bigs are as bad as we all hoped they wouldn’t be when looking at their rankings coming in. The scary part is that we don’t have any young talent to build around right now, and no save the Day big man coming next year or year after to shore up what we have right now. Outside of Berry, we have a bunch of kids that in most years would be our 5th or 6th option at best who are now counted on to produce. Beer me...
