WHEN Marcus gets out of the slump and I am sure he will, this team will be very very difficult to stop. Really the only thing missing right now. Marcus is good. All players go thru slumps, yes, even one this glaring. Again, when this is over, we will be unstoppable.
BTW - that wasn't a travel on the last play by Marcus. Another one of those calls that I hate that the refs anticipate what is going to happen.... and then I guess its irrelevant what actually happens. The ball is very clearly out of his hands before he lands. If he had jumped like he did, then started to dribble, its traveling. But on the play he made, it was a jump pass, with just a delayed release.... but not travelling.
In what freaking bizzarro world does VT outshoot us (attempts and makes) from the FT line?!?! That said if Marcus and Jackson could hit a few threes it wouldn't even have been close.
Very glad to see Paige hit his 2nd 1 & 1 opportunity to help seal the win. But he and Jackson made a couple of dumb plays late that gave VT extra chances.

I wouldn't overlook BC on Saturday. UNC has not played their best basketball the past few games.
Mnt-feist I wondered why we had not seen u post as of late but then the reason might be of course that UNC has won 11 in a row and you ONLY like to show up with the Ole Roy had to go mess when Carolina loses or is in a real tough game.
Glad the guys could pull it out . Win is a win. Could have very easily lost this one. Didn't have a good feeling about it before hand. Just keep winning

Why do people take dissenting opinions personally?
One thing we know. This team is tougher down the stretch than last year. Winning while struggling, especially on the road, is a big deal.
Except Seth Davis is voting for OU for #1. Imagine that.

Didn't take it personally at all. I just think it was a ridiculous statement to post considering the team's record this season.
Exactly. I guess he missed the key moment in the game, when despite the team basically playing like they had it won up 36-16 with 25 minutes to play, Roy began switching defenses down the stretch. That move confused VT, led to turnovers and bad shots, and effectively won the game. I thought it was his best coaching job of the season. They are winning games despite Paige doing very little for Pete's sake!
