USA TODAY says the best Q in North Carolina is....................

Wait a minute RH are you talking about that crap like Kraft sells or are you talking about Lexington style sauce? Lexington style is not tomato based. Eastern style and Lexington style are almost the same, the only difference is Lexington style has a little ketchup. People try to make out like there is a big difference but there's not.
Nah, I'm talking Memphis and Kansas City style.

Is Scotts BBQ in Goldsboro still open.Used to live in Goldsboro and actually liked it better than Wilburs
I was going to eat there the last time I was in Goldsboro but they were closed. I don't know if it was for good or not. I have noticed that a lot of store still sell their sauce.

I think they are open for lunch on Thursdays and Fridays. A friend told me that most of the Scott family has passed on and it may not be quite what it once was. The sauce is available all over.

Had a chance to eat at Sam Jones Barbecue in Winterville today for lunch. Outstanding wood-cooked barbecue and chicken. Banana pudding was good too. First time I've eaten there. Now, I have got to get to the Skylight in Ayden sometime.

There isn't a single style of BBQ that I don't like. I don't care if it's Memphis, KC, Eastern NC, Lexington, or some mustard sh*t you find in SC, if it's BBQ, I'm eating it, and there's a 99.999999% I'm gonna enjoy the living hell out of it. Now there's some I'm prefer more than others, but I damn sure like them all.
In other words, it's just like your sex life. If you are actually lucky enough to get some, you will take anything anywhere no matter what.
