Eastern style and Lexington style are almost the same, the only difference is Lexington style has a little ketchup. People try to make out like there is a big difference but there's not.

Midwood is pretty good. Saucemans is OK, Mac's is good but inconsistent. Bubba's is ok, same with Bill Spoons. Kyle Fletcher's and RO's in Gaston County are both pretty good.

To me, Kyle Fletcher's is just okay, but all the cool Carolina memorabilia in there makes it worth a trip. @Raising Heel you should go. It's in Lowell (technically it might be Gastonia?)

Yeah, that's kinda my only complaint with Charlotte. I think Sauceman's is pretty good, but good BBQ is what Charlotte is lacking, no doubt.

I was going to eat there the last time I was in Goldsboro but they were closed. I don't know if it was for good or not. I have noticed that a lot of store still sell their sauce.

I think they are open for lunch on Thursdays and Fridays. A friend told me that most of the Scott family has passed on and it may not be quite what it once was. The sauce is available all over.

Had a chance to eat at Sam Jones Barbecue in Winterville today for lunch. Outstanding wood-cooked barbecue and chicken. Banana pudding was good too. First time I've eaten there. Now, I have got to get to the Skylight in Ayden sometime.

I don't care if it's Memphis, KC, Eastern NC, Lexington, or some mustard sh*t you find in SC, if it's BBQ, I'm eating it, and there's a 99.999999% I'm gonna enjoy the living hell out of it. Now there's some I'm prefer more than others, but I damn sure like them all.
