Beginning to wonder if any ACC team wins more than two games in this tourney or NIT. Most will be one and done. ACC super weak. Surprised how far some "experts" have Duke picked (Final Four, champ even). Wait til they have to meet legit conference teams like Big 10, Big 12, SEC.

ACC basketball is the weakest its ever been. And there is no sign it is about to get any better.
UNC beat them when Bacot was healthy. They beat us when Bacot was hurt. It is what it is.
Doesn't change the fact that 5th year player Kihei Clarke just threw away his final game.

Yep. And its pretty predictable given style of play. Inability to generally score above 60, coupled with "physical, aggressive" to put it nicely - defense, leaves (compared to other more modern style teams) - little margin for error, lots of upset opportunities against a strong offensive, good shooting team, or an officiating crew that calls it tighter than what UVA experiences in ACC games.

Bacot was 3rd Team All American this year. With the worst 3pt shooting team in UNC history, Bacot is the only reason we didn't have a losing record. Your critical analysis is a testament to the West Virginia education system.
They apparently went on an 11-0 run by switching to a zone defense at one point. Bennett didn't have them prepared for that.
UVa loss isn't an indictment on the ACC. Even in their best years, they are literally 4-5 possessions away from losing to anybody. It's just the way they play. Can't remember if it was Clark or Kenny who said it best after the game. UVa is good enough to beat anybody, but not good enough to put anybody away with their style of play. So true!

Dude, Bacot struggled against every athletic big. His numbers were what they were due to playing weak opponents. He was worse this year than last year and looked a step slower. WV education system knows that much.

I'm sorry you aren't able to understand the difficulties a post player faces when opposing defenses know that his teammates can't make 3-pointers. Despite his teammates awful shooting handicapping the team, despite two ankle injuries and a shoulder injury, despite having no true point guard to run the offense or set him up with easy scoring opportunities... Armando Bacot has been recognized 3rd Team All America by the AP and by the Sporting News, with more accolades likely to come.
Now if you don't mind, I'm going to get back to laughing at how Kihei Clark's career ended.
