Duke and Kentucky are playing well...A month ago the game Wednesday night(Dean Dome) was a predicted blow out...now it will be a battle...a lot of shooters to cover...Big advantage Heels in the paint

Welcome to the board, zero1 . .

He walked, twice in fact, but more like 2.2 steps and barely up and down. The refs are never going make that call though, against any team, not when it's that close. The fact that it was Allen @ Duke? Yep, that's got to piss off everyone. See ya'll Wednesday. Get ready for Allen to piss you off again. He does it to everyone we play.

And yet you have FOUR ACC loses?

Nothing especially unusual about the dook game today. If you watch dook games at HIS the pattern is quite familiar after thirty plus years of Vader at the helm.... if it is close like today in the last 5 minutes count on dook to get at least two to three Touch fouls.... calls that essentially give them anywhere from 3 to 6 points/game. That happened again today with Gumby Allen getting his usual assortment of touch fouls down the stretch .....I counted 3 and he made all 6 foul shots.... easy half dozen for the dark side.

BTW isn't it interesting that UVA was NOT even IN the bonus until about 4 minutes to go in the game and they never got to the double bonus. All this while they completely dominated with points in the paint, yet virtually no fouls were called on the doochies. The doochies were in the bonus ,in fact the double bonus ,from about the 8 minute mark on down.

Did you catch where coach kay called a time out while the ball was in play? They can't do that anymore, the player has to call the timeout, not the bench.

Duke is all about getting the call right. Remember their football game against Miami? They were writing letters to the ACC office demanding the outcome be overturned. I'm sure they now want to award the win to UVa today after such poor officiating. I'll drop by their board and see if they are as outraged today as they were after the Miami football game.

So how was it? Are they volunteering to give the win back?

Which one of the PTI guys was saying Miami should have forfeited after that game? I think Wilbon, but not sure. I would like to ask him about it on Twitter.

I can't stand dook and hope we crush them but be better learn how to guard the perimeter by Wednesday night or else we'll lose by 8-10 points.

good ol puke. In the bonus with 10 minutes left and in the double bonus with 7 minutes left. Still needed a travel, carry shot by Allen to win it. Coach K makes me sick. His constant yelling over obvious fouls from his team is laughable. Dudes a joke.

K was apparently kind of mentioning the officials in the postgame as well. Hard to believe after that game he would go there but that is kind of who he is now I guess. I didn't really want to see Duke win either but if we take care of business in at least a somewhat reasonable fashion it could help us in the long run. Of course, they will have to start playing better. They can though.

Sub-zero still posts on the national board every now and then. Not very often but he still has that handle. This would have to be an alternate if so.

Little off topic but I am really interested in how the next 3 games for the Heels reff'ed. It does seem that things are called tighter on the home teams offensive end. But it seems to be less so on the visitors end? And isn't just the Heels games- these last three games were pretty bad. In a game I saw the other night UCLA at Arizona I think the cats were +30-35 at the line on attempts! How the heck does that make sense? And before someone says it; the Bruins drove the lane just as much as U of A

That game was way more egregious than any of ours. UCLA was just hosed over and over.

Definite walk... Not sure that walk would be called against the home team in any arena... Sure as hell won't be called at Cameron.

All 3 refs in that game know that if they called the travel there, their days of refereeing ACC hoops would be numbered. K's control is AMAZING!

Definitely traveled and appears to be up and down travel again. Neither of these things were blatantly obvious in real time IMO. Also, the defender played a little Tyler Thornton esque defense (foul, can bump and use your body to manipulate the offensive player). I think the refs allowed it to play out and I have no problem with it. Let's get ready for Wed.

Tru, I appreciate that you can look at this rationally. But Duke fans can't have it both ways... they were livid over the Miami football game, however one could argue that IN REAL TIME it wasn't obvious whether the Cane player had his knee down or not. But that didn't stop them from calling for Miami to forfeit the win. So I suppose they should feel obligated to return this "W" to the Cavs then, eh?

I'm the best person to talk to of this situation as I love cane football and that was a thrilling victory for me and yes I agree in real time that call was not clear. Only thing is you can't lump all Duke fans together. I think anyone that suggested Miami give back that win was ridiculous and not just because I'm Cane in football. Human error is a part of the game. Sure you can wish certain things were reviewable and maybe they will be in time but if not you have to deal with it. I been rooting for my teams for 30 years now. Do you know how many games I wish a play was reviewable? Hell the canes lost a title game to osu on a ridiculous play. To ask that another team hand over a game is pathetic
