You can tell me . . . I'll keep it just between us.

After 4 and a half days of on/off rain, I'm gonna be doing some much needed yard work.

. . and I'll be poasting some ribs on the grill come Sunday (weather permitting) . .

Whaddja got OOTB . . ?

Going to Lake Gaston , no offense but you couldn't pay me to go to Europe. You might want to invest in a flak jacket.

All of those things sound great, and I hope all have a great time. Just a suggestion that you take 30 seconds or maybe a minute. to reflect, thank and say a little prayer for the thousands and thousands of GIs who died for you at places like Normandy, Iwo Jima, Khe Sanh and Mosul.

They are the reason we have this long weekend to play.

Played golf today and the rest of the weekend is prepping to move.

Golf tomorrow. Going somewhere with the wife tomorrow night. Church and then grilling on Sunday. No idea about Monday. Entertaining the kids all day somehow.

Staying off the roads and away from the holiday crowds is priority number one.

Have some yard work to do today, maybe pressure wash the driveway/sidewalks if I'm feeling wild. It's supposed to rain tomorrow and Monday so today's the day to get it all done.

The UNC baseball game is at 4 today. If they win, I'll watch the championship game tomorrow. Might binge watch some stuff the rest of the weekend since the forecast isn't looking good. I'll be grilling every day regardless of the weather.

Oh, and of course I'll be drunk for all of the above. My two best friends are bourbon and beer.

FYI...

The National Moment of Remembrance, established by Congress, asks Americans, wherever they are at 3 p.m., local time, on Memorial Day, to pause in an act of national unity for a duration of one minute. The time 3 p.m. was chosen because it is the time when most Americans are enjoying their freedoms on the national holiday. The Moment does not replace traditional Memorial Day events; rather, it is an act of national unity in which all Americans, alone or with family and friends, honor those who died in service to the United States.

Golf today, golf tomorrow. My wife says we're landscaping Monday so hoping rain starts Sunday night!
Ok so it poured last night and early this morning so no yardwork! Overcast but sitting outside next to the pool, sipping on a yellabelly listening to a little Pat Green while the lab swimming and chasing tennis balls. Hebrew National dogs getting ready to drop in boiling water and buns into steamer.
