The entire country is going to need some of that salve, Jim . . we have 3 1/2 more painful years in front of us, but, as our country goes down, at least Captain Underpants will get rich on his B-H Salve sales.

Russia has never been closer to the White House . . might wanna save some of that salve for prison, Donny.

T-Rump won the election 6 months ago Billy...I know that you guys thought you had it wrapped up with your stellar candidate Billary Clinton....according to all the polls of course....but you LOST!!! So what do you do....you post a poll!!! WTF? You would think that you had learnt your lesson by now!!! I don't have to post a poll because I am not sure that any of them aren't skewed one way or another!! But you keep on doing that and 50% of the country will keep laughing at you! And while you are at it, continue to push your Democrap reps to keep looking for something to catch T-Rump on...which you haven't even come close to yet!! And while you are at it continue to IGNORE the fact that your gal Hillary WAS actually caught lying, cheating, selling a bunch of shit to Russia for huge amounts of money etc....and go ahead and ignore that!!!!! I really thought you were better then this.....We gave that Sh!t head Obama 8 years and he did NOTHING....you guys are throwing a hissy fit over 6 months of T-Rump......SMDH at you Libs!

Then why don't you post one of those fantastic internet polls (LOL) that show his true approval rating . . ? Don't complain, GAC . . .show me where you believe he stands.

Please tell me what Obama did for 8 frickin years in the White House that is so great.....race relations in this Country SUCK....thousands upon thousands of jobs lost...the fastest growing job sector in the Country over those 8 years was the Government....Capitalism, which is what this Country was built on, gave up huge ground to Socialism.....National Pride went to hell....our Military is weaker then it has ever been.....the rich got richer and the poor got poorer.....Crime in our Country sky rocketed.....attack after attack on our Constitution.....yet you have the gal to attack Trump after 6 months on the job!!!! Total Bull Shit if you ask me.....I hated the last 2 years of Bush's Presidency and stated that on many many occasions....as did many other republicans......yet I don't hear any dems bashing Obama and he was by far the worst Pres. this Country has ever had. Everything that Trump does will be hated by spiteful Libs.....and because of this the Country will only grow further divided...that is the facts!!! Bunch of sore losers!!!!

Dude . . . Hillary lost the election, we're over it. She is not the one at the helm of the ship.

Donny Dollhands is making an attempt at running the country . . . He's the Prez, try focusing on him please . . congressional investigations into his administration, an independent counselor has been authorized by his own peeps. Michael Flynn is under indictment and is singing to the FBI to save his own ass.

He promised a mexican wall . . Now his secretary of homeland security says, “It’s unlikely that we will build a wall.”

He said he'd clean up the Washington Swamp . . Then he brought into his administration more billionaires, CEOs and Wall Street moguls than in any administration in history, to make laws that will enrich their businesses. The 'Swamp' got a whole lot more swampier there son.

He said he'd replace Obamacare with something wonderful . . he hasn't and he won't. The GOP can't even agree on their own health care plan . .

He said he'd release his tax returns. He hasn't . .

He said he’d divest himself from his financial empire, to avoid any conflicts of interest. He remains heavily involved in his businesses, makes money off of foreign dignitaries staying at his Washington hotel, gets China to give the Trump brand trademark and copyright rights, manipulates the stock market on a daily basis and has more conflicts of interest than can even be counted.

He said Hillary Clinton was in the pockets of Goldman Sachs and would do whatever they said. Then he put half a dozen Goldman Sachs executives in positions of power in his administration.

He called Obama “the vacationer-in-chief” and accused him of playing more rounds of golf than Tiger Woods. He promised to never be the kind of president who took cushy vacations on the taxpayer’s dime, not when there was so much important work to be done. He has by now spent more taxpayer money on vacations than Obama did in the first three years of his presidency. Not to mention all the money taxpayers are spending protecting his family, including his two sons who travel all over the world on Trump business.

He called CNN, The Washington Post and The New York Times “fake news” and said they were his enemy.
Now he gets his information from Fox News, Breitbart, Gateway Pundit and InfoWars. LMFAO

He said he knew more about strategy and terrorism than the generals did.
Then he green-lighted a disastrous raid in Yemen, even though his generals said it would be a terrible idea. This raid resulted in the deaths of a Navy SEAL, an 8-year-old American girl and numerous civilians. The actual target of the raid escaped, and no useful intel was gained. Dumbass Donny . .

I'm not throwing a hissy fit . . it's the same reality show that Trump has always provided us. It just means a whole lot more now . .

We have a habitual liar sitting in the White House . . I wouldn't believe a MF'ing thing this asshat ever says after his numerous and belligerent contradictions in the first 6 months, some lies have even been self-admitted after a spokesperson was told to lie to us all.

Yep, 6 months into his term and this is where we are currently at :

I don't know about the validity of that poll and I don't really care. My contention is that regardless of what people say out loud, the people that voted for Trump would do it again tomorrow. They may not be proud of it, but they'd do it again. Just like @UNC71-00 maintained throughout the election cycle, despite what people were saying, Trump had his support. I suspect that has not changed. It's irrelevant obviously because Trump is the POTUS and will be for at least 3.5 more years. And if I'm you, I wouldn't bet against him next time either.

I'm confused as to why people think he has to accomplish everything in a few months or he is a complete failure. Last I checked presidents are in office for 4 years. I haven't been that excited with any president that I can remember, but I definitely gave them more than a few months to accomplish something meaningful. I'll agree that Trump has been pretty bad so far, but I just don't think it's realistic to judge a president after six months.

That's true. I'm sure he's just getting the hang of it and will be doing a stellar job any minute now. He's already sending more troops to Afghanistan. I'm sure that will pay off well.

I'm more referring to people who are saying he has done a horrible job because he hasn't built the wall, passed healthcare reform and overhauled the tax code in six months. That's just a stupid expectation and no president has accomplished something like that in six months. Forgive me for having realistic expectations.

That was pretty thorough, William. No mention of his son in law, however. And, a press secretary that has delivered some of the best PC's in history.

His son-in-law will be the first person, well maybe, the second after Flynn, that Trump pardons . .

Promises of vacated sanctions in exchange for some money to help his floundering property holdings.

Dis' one gonna be gud . . there's a reason that Mueller has hired Andrew Weissman, the attorney best known for his ability to 'flip' a witness. He has to feel that he prolly needs to get someone close to Trump to tell the truth, since the Russkies are being whom they are, killing and silencing witnesses from their side.

For Dems, the real beauty of this nightmare, is that Trump is the one that brought it onto himself. He tried to get all tough guy with Comey, and after that 'you better hope there are no tapes' threat, Comey upped the ante with his congressional testimony, prompting Rosenstein to secure an Independent Investigator (LMFAO).
You don't think ol' Trump wouldn't want to have himself a do-over there . . ? He's regretted his moves on Comey from Day 1, but, it was all gonna come to this anyways . . he may not be dirty, but make no mistake, he has or had dirty folks around him. That bullying may have worked in the private sector for Donny Dollhands, it damn sure isn't going to work in DC's checks and balances system . .

Go get 'em, tough guy . .

Trump won't be re-elected with a 35% approval rating, because he's already lost a small portion of his base IMO . .

Not going to get in the middle of the poli-smack, but with this you stepped off into a situation that I have direct knowledge of. Obama green-lit this mission and it was a go before Trump took office. The mission-specific training was in full swing when he took the OoO and I seriously doubt he had any input into the mission at all other than being told it was happening and why.

Could he have stopped it? Of course. But with the time and resources that had already been committed to the operation I imagine he just let it ride and relied on the intel available. It was Obama's team that devised and executed the plan, not Trumps.

Again, I maintain that people aren't truthful when asked about Trump and that what a poll might show is not a true reflection of people that support him. The media has demonized him so much that people don't want to be seen publicly as a supporter of his. They fear they'll be called racist, xenophobic, etc.

But honestly, I don't even care about Trump - whether he gets re-elected or not. His winning the election did what I needed done. Trump's election reversed the course of the country. His rhetoric has been effective in regards to immigration. His rhetoric has restored some power to law enforcement. His rhetoric has undone some of the culture the Obama administration promoted. I'm content with that.

Every day the Libs bring something new up.....after 6 months of trying they still have nothing...so what do they do...they bring up more stuff! That is going to be the plan for the next 3.5 years! And then you have the Strum libs who want to continue the pussification of America and because T-Rump draws a line in the sand he starts crying about starting a war!!! By the way...did you Libs see that T-Rump opened the door with his left hand this morning....that was a sign to Russia that he was sending them more money thru Brazil this time!!!

The wall won't be built, Mexico ain't gonna pay, the ACA isn't going to be replaced. I will give him credit for shutting down the TPP. I don't have any expectations.

The other problem with those numbers is that it is being looked at from a national level. The question is what are the numbers at the state level since it doesn't matter what the national level is? I haven't looked at the numbers, so they may be the same.

The wall won't be built, Mexico ain't gonna pay
Agreed

the ACA isn't going to be replaced
I think it might happen, but it's a long shot. I think a more likely outcome will be that changes are made to it instead of a complete overhaul.

I don't have any expectations.
If you are saying he has already been a bust, then you have to have some type of expectations. I'm a little surprised that you have been so dismissive of him already. He is the best chance you have at seeing your hope of the establishment going away. If Trump does a good job, then future third party candidates have a fighting chance. If he fails, you will never see anything but establishment candidates being elected. You should be one of his biggest supporters in that sense.

Okay, thanks . .

So, this action approval of Obama's was agreed upon by DT, which is surprising in itself, since it seems he wishes to take down anything and everything that Obama did while he was in office.

Obama got into Trump's head many years ago, and that thin-skinned narcissistic maniac has been obsessed with reversing every item he can. He's been nothing more than a 'Spite' President.

Obama left office while enjoying lofty approval ratings . . that in itself a rarity for a man in the WH for 8 years.

This is spot on. I still believe the ONLY reason we have a Trump presidency is because Obama humiliated the man during the Press Corps Dinner. Obama made a life-long enemy and Trump made up his mind to try to ruin Obama's legacy, IMO.

Thank-you for the link, I don't believe that Ford & Bush 43 were 8 year Presidents.
Correct, but I think that stat is an even greater accomplishment. These are guys who were voted out of office, but still did a good enough job in the eyes of the public to have high approval ratings. I was kind of surprised that HW was so high at 56%

It may be a political Witch Hunt and if it is . . I'm okay with it. There's way too much about our President's financial dealings that has yet to disclosed . . all of those dealings need to be looked at to insure he's not currently or will be compromised in the future.

Maybe, not OOJ, but, there's a very good possibility of collusion.

Let's just allow Mueller to take a good close look okay . . . it can't do any harm right . . ?

Sure...now. But keep in mind that anyone who dared question anything about Obama was attacked as a racist.

Therefore, I hereby proclaim anyone questioning anything Trump does is simply un-American.

Ergo sir, you are a TRAITOR!

TRAITOR, I SAY!

I'm not really disagreeing with what you are saying, but I wanted to point out that republicans were using the exact same logic when asking for Hilary to be investigated for Benghazi, the Clinton Foundation and her emails. The democrats, just like the republicans now, were screaming that it was a witch hunt. Just another example of how polarized DC and the nation as a whole has become.

Agreed. The message that the pussification of America has to stop was sent with the Trump election - now whether or not it will fully stop is another matter, but at least we've stopped the bleeding on it. Trump's presidency may well crash and burn, but at least his job is done on that front.

I think whether Trump's supporters (or at least voters) bail on him in 2020 depends on who the Dems prop up for a candidate. I think we've gotten what we needed out of Trump by sending the above message, and would rather not vote for him in 2020 - but if the Dems trot out Hillary 3.0, or even (lol) Michelle Obama, I'll have no choice but to again vote for the lesser of two evils. If they actually get some quality in there, maybe I'll have a decision to make. Maybe Trump won't want the headache and will decline running again too, so maybe someone decent will be on the Republican ticket as well if the Dems nominate one of the above two dopes.

I honestly don't think he'll run again. That job sucks. I don't want it. I'm too busy trying to cover my little piece of Heaven and keep it afloat...screw worrying about everyone else. Y'all on your own.

I'm not sure I would agree with that. Still seems to be out of control to me. I'm not really sure what any president could do to stop that kind of mindset though. That's coming from the parents and school. You can't stop bad parenting or legislate speech in the classroom.

I'm very curious to see who the democrats nominate. I don't see a viable candidate for them right now. Obama kind of came out of nowhere, so maybe the same thing will happen again.

Maybe Trump won't want the headache and will decline running again too
I could definitely see this happening.

Trump is president.

Trump is not going to be impeached.

Russia is just a bunch of blabber from the Dems and the media because they have nothing else to run with at the moment.

Stock market is at record high, and stock market performance was always a prime reason that Billy stated his approval for Obama.

We are all much better off with Trump as president as opposed to Hillary.

Trump will win again in 2020 if he runs.

Kushner, Manafort & Flynn is not just blabber . . there's nothing else, but, Russia in the news.

If, I was the Mango Munchkin, I'd be worried about Mueller & Company. He's going to be a nightmare . .

Comey outfoxed Trump, because he knows how Washington DC works . .
