Just for fun.

No freshmen. Only guys who we've seen play at this level.

That should probably exclude Austin Nichols, since he's a transfer, but use your judgment.

Feel free to list 2nd and 3rd choices.

If you are brave, indicate where they will play and who - if anyone - they will push to the bench.

Part of what makes this fun is that some of the obvious choices are either people we don't particularly like or people who play positions where we don't need the help all that much.

So, for example, you have to think about a guy like Blossomgame. Because he's good. But do we really need help at his position. As for Grayson Allen, I've always thought we'd probably like him if he played for us, but he's sort of the poster boy for Dookies you like to hate at the moment. So it would be hard to select him.

So I'm figuring we need a big more than anything else. But unless we have health issues, we don't really need a starter.

It would be tempting to grab Blossomgame, but at 6'7, 215, he doesn't quite fit our needs.

At 6'10, 245, and with a decent shooting touch and shot blocking, Wake's Mitoglou looks interesting.

Or State's Abu, who started coming on nicely as a soph.

I was also impressed with Syracuse's Tyler London, although he would need to bulk up to play front line for us.

I'm guessing Jeter will figure it out as a soph and end up being pretty good.

I thought Abu had transferred from state?

I would take Mitogou if I can't have Nichols but Bacon would be an interesting guy to be able to add. I think we need size more than additional back court thou.

I forgot about Abu leaving.

Yeah, Bacon, like Blossomgame, would be a fine addition, but not really what we need.

Then again, some people think Justin is a guard. So maybe Bacon or Blossomgame on the court with Justin would work out better than I think. Still doesn't give us the big guy we need, but does add size on the wings, so maybe it would serve just as well.

I would like to add a big man but there really aren't any returning big men that are real game changers. It's one reason I think Kennedy has a chance to be one of the better centers in the league. It's also one reason that I feel dook's freshman bigs will have a chance to shine early.

So since I don't see any dominant returning bigs, I would take a great all around guard like London Perrantes. He can shoot, handle the ball, and distribute the ball. With him starting alongside Joel, we'd be awfully hard to beat.

I would take almost any starting big 6'10"+. But I don't think any of them would start for us.

I see no reason to think we would like Grayson if he played for us. The only chance this might be so is if his game and personality would be vastly different in our much classier environment.

I just noticed that Allen scored 666 points last year.

Hmmmm. ;)
