Lunardi has 11 ACC teams in the NCAAT. I've included the top 10 in the poll - omitting BC - listed in order of their projected seed.

At least 2 of these teams will lose their first game, but I suspect there will be a couple more.

Do you foresee any upsets? Who?

If Duke were playing at FSU I might have picked that as an upset.

I went with NC State upsetting Clemson and Va Tech upsetting Syracuse.

Yeah, those are the 3 games I would consider ripe for the upset, I do consider VT, Cuse, NC St and Clemson to be more paper tigers at this point. I do think duke will struggle with FSU's length, think they will need a hot shooting night by Trippy and the freshman Trent, may be a game that Bagley finds some foul trouble, again due to the considerable length FSU throws at you. But, they suffer from poor coaching at FSU, Hamilton is expert in finding a way to seize defeat from the mouth of victory and duke at home is going to enjoy more than their share of home cookin!

@Cuse it probably is. KenPom has Cuse as a 2 point favorite in that matchup.

I guess it's semantics. To me an upset is when a heavily favored team who's ranked gets knocked off by a much less thought of team. A 2 pt favorite on your home court according to kenpom probably means va tech is favored on a neutral floor. Toss up game.

I have a feeling Pitt may beat Louisville
I was just thinking that it would be neat if Pitt managed a couple of upsets.

We really don't know how good Louisville is after losing Pitino and Bowen (or whatever his name is). They have some really good players, but can Padget get as much out of them as Pitino would? That was one of his strengths.
