Who did better in the Debate?

It's funny, I originally put sir then changed my mind. You have to earn it on here from me. Only gentleman deserve "sir."

I found this interesting. As @UNC71-00 has suggested (and I've agreed), there are "secret Trump supporters". Folks that will pull the lever for Trump behind the curtain when no one is looking. And they aren't old, angry white men.

They aren't so secret any more- plenty are coming out.

And the main factor is the African American vote- will they turnout like in 08 and 12 and all vote for Hillary? I doubt it.

Well I'm hoping Trump wins even if it means I lose the bet with you. It'll be worth it for me in the long run. :D:p

But you said if Trump wins, our country will go down the shitter. So what you're saying is that you want Trump to win and our country to go in the shitter just so you can tell a guy you've never met and will never meet - that you only know from an internet message board - that you were right.

Gotcha. That seems reasonable.

Only because it's going down the shitter if Hillary wins too so since we cannot win either way I might as well get some joy out of it.

Man, this is one of the MOST entertaining election cycles... EVER! We are getting our money's worth this time! No doubt!

Too bad Trump cannot handle the truth when it is handed to him! He goes into complete denial, lies and swindles... he would NEVER admit to any truth said about him.
you keep saying you don't like either one but you only attack Trump. Hillary's lies and swindles dwarf Trump's in comparison and Trump's haven't sent anybody to the grave.

Where's the fun in that? No one on this board, except Billy, is voting for Clinton. Billy isn't changing his vote to Trump, no matter how bad she appears. There's no fun in showing Clinton's gaffes if only one person is going to be affected, and even he isn't going to be affected!

No way in hell am I voting for Trump....

Trump is just the bigger idiot and runs his mouth too much. She is at least good at hiding her BS and does it in a pleasant way, which is scary enough. She cannot be trusted but she does know how to shut up and do her conniving in a quieter way, that's all. He is just in his usual full-on idiot mode, making a mockery of things and making the US the joke of the entire world right now.

Glad he's honest too. He calls Hillary crooked so much, I'm starting to wonder which one is more crooked

Link doesn't work

this does. I read it yesterday on CNN, but the newsweek link has been removed. I'm not sure if the story Newsweek ran was bogus or not. It may be why the link is dead.:

Trump blew a huge opportunity and imo, Hillary did much better in the debate, likely the best she can do.

She may gain a couple of points or lose a couple of points in the polls, but you gotta think even doing her best meant people had to look at that smug, lying face for 90 minutes, and that's gotta hurt.

And I mean hurt big time when it comes to election day. Trump needs to do a lot better but whatever gain she got, deep down people's minds still see what we all see in Hillary and the more you see, the more you don't like it.

People focus on the dumbest things. Like Clinton hammering Trump on his allegedly not paying his fair share of taxes. Is that supposed to be a bad thing? Lol. If he's evading taxes, that's one thing, and he should be charged if that's the case - but that's not what anyone is claiming.

He has people who owe him money send it to the Trump Foundation instead (link). At least half of the money that's come into the Trump Foundation since 2008 has come from sources like that. Perfectly legal but Trump's still supposed to pay taxes on that money. However, Trump relies on a 1942 court case that says he doesn't owe the taxes if he doesn't specifically tell them who to donate to. Magically, they just decide to send it to his personal slush fund so he can use the money to buy huge portraits of himself and pay off judgements against his companies. He could release his taxes and put the claim to rest but we know how that works.

But that's just good business, right?

Trump signed a contract with a family-owned NJ music store for $100,00 worth of pianos for one of his casinos (link). After they were delivered (and tuned) the music store owner was told the casino was having money problems and would only pay $70,000 - take it or leave it. Being unable to afford suing Trump or wait for his full payment (which might never come), he took it and ate the $30,000 loss.

I suppose that's just good business, too...unless you own the music store. As a trivia point, the owner of the music store rented Springsteen his very first guitar.

Pales in comparison to what Hillary has done.

Bingo.

Hillary's side can't ever claim any moral high ground. They are going to have to win with her charisma, likeability and powers of persuasion

Should be easy enough.

Forgive ne if this has already been posted but it is pure gold for this election:

Somewhere between 85% and 89% of donations to the Clinton Foundation go to charitable work as tallied by CharityWatch. The industry standard is ~75%. There's your comparison.

Now, how about addressing what Trump did - or are you going to deflect again?
