NO, that is not what I said, I said you can either ignor gary or at very least be respectful when you post. I could care less if you respect gary, gurantee ya gary could less if you do.Do you understand the difference between respecting someone and being respectful toward someone?
Gonna give you a little bit of a clue here boss, I am trying to bring some peace to this board, I and I suspect many others are tired of this inside bickering. I would appreciate you maybe trying to help matters and stop this egging this situation on.

This line of questioning should be directed to the aforementioned Gary. Just because he brings good recruiting tidbits to the board does not mean he has the right to act like a pompous, arrogant dickhead to all posters who possess a differing viewpoint or recruiting intel.

Basketball discussion is not possible on this board because a select few of y'all drown out any dissenting opinions. The following views are not tolerated by Gary, ChapelHeeled, and a few others:
- UNC should go after OAD recruits
- the next head coach should have zero attachment to Dean
- Duke is recruiting really well lately
That just comes off the top of my head. This board is dead because y'all browbeat the shit out of anyone who disagrees with you. It's boring and doesn't foster any debate or discussion. I can sum up Radar's groupthink in 5 bullet points:

- OAD recruits are the devil and we shouldn't recruit that trash
- any time we lose, it's the ref's fault and the NCAA wants to screw us.

I might not even care about the second part if the first part was true. But I've been given a lot of false hope on recruits on this board. I guess its a "you get what you pay for" situation, and I shouldn't expect solid info for free - maybe this will finally push me over the edge to premium.

I haven't been here as long as the rest of you but this definitely seems to be case, especially with high level guys. Whether it was Ingram, Giles, Okafor, Wiggins, Randle or whoever else, it's been a constant let down the last few years. I fully believe Roy will get recruits for the 2017 class, but the uncertainty that surrounded our recruiting since 2012 has shaken my faith in our ability to get top 10 players.
I think if Weatherspoon is going to team up then it will be with his brother at Miss. State. MSU is listed as his current leader with Louisville 2nd.

I actually would agree with that post. Obviously its not 100% but the reality is that select things are not accepted on here.
Case in point, as a Duke fan apparently 99% of what I say is crap. Now I get the rivalry and I understand its a UNC board. To me that means the antiUNC smack talk is off limits and obviously some of my opinions may be met with more pushback. However it goes to extremes when I make the comment that "UNC will have one of the best PGs in the country next year in Berry" and that is criticized. I personally come to this board more than Duke, because I already know what most people think of Dukes class and players. I like to get unbiased(yes I realize the irony in that statement on this board because of the rivalry) opinions of basketball and especially the rivalry. Also I feel like a good amount of people on here would know more about their recruits than I would find out on other boards. It does seem though that some, not all, have issues with being challenged and unfortunately those issues lead to a thread like this where its more bickering than substance.

I didn't come here to start any arguments or ruffle any feathers....just share what I had regarding Carter. Again, I will choose my words more carefully in the future and will mainly stick to my board when it comes to recruiting information I get unless it's pro UNC.

I know you and I have not always seen eye to eye on things but you didn't start this, this has unfortunately been brewing for way to long now. You do not owe an apology but I do appreciate that you offered it, that was a class act.
This entire thread has become a disgrace. This is no longer even about recruiting. This has, once again, become a thread of (adults? Not sure anymore) hurling incessant and unnecessary insults at each other to make it a pissing contest between fans. I think we've officially hit a point where this thread has more off topic insults than it does information about recruiting. Or our next commitment, as it was originally titled.
I'm sure mike has much more important things to do than monitor these petty squabbles 24/7, but I do hope when he gets back, he locks and removes this from the front page. This is beyond ridiculous.
