The good news is he'll hop to a better job if he gets momentum there, and he likely will get momentum there in this environment and with the ACC being awful. In this era having anything less than the best coach you think you can possibly hire is inexcusable. They have to be able to team build quickly and strategize for new makeup every season, neither of which have yet shown to be HD's strengths.

Wade is a good coach, maybe one of the better hires Moo has made in basketball. What was once cheating is now the norm, so he should be good to use his old tactics.

Not happy about this at all, which reflects on how insanely great a hire this is for Moo. Don't care about what he did to get sanctioned anymore, given that it's now sanctimoniously sanctioned by the NCAA. I see him for what he truly is: A strong ass coach that could make our rival really good.

If you saw McNeese play Clemson yesterday, you know that Wade will win at Moo. I have seen nothing out of Hubert that makes me think he can match wits with Wade game after game, season after season.
The Dude is a certified Douche on and off the court, but he can coach ball. This is a good hire for State. Nothing is illegal anymore. If they're willing to spend in NIL, he could probably do really well.
I am not at all a fan of negotiating publicly and making a hire decision for a coach that is still coaching his team in the NCAAT. Strikes me as scummy, disrespectful to that current team of players in the NCAAT. They could have had agents talking to agents behind the scenes and outside of the public view but NO, scum must not act properly...
Because Keatts is a terrible coach. Money sitting on the sidelines will force coaching changes moving forward.
