I hate to agree, but I do. Methinks his numbers looked good at Army since his defense was only on the field about 20 minutes per game, while his offense was on the field eating clock up and shortening the game.
Of the Dl, LBs, and DBs, is any of the those positions groups well coached by their position coaches?
My answer is: NO. All 3 groups of players on D have major issues with fundamentals.
Mack does not allow Bateman to hire and fire position coaches. Poor position coaches always do harm to Coordinators.

I was so hyped for this year after the performance of the team last year BUT one must admit the losses of Carter and Williams are mammoth Hell Sam is our best rusher now. Coupled with an atrocious d and we are a 500 club . Huge letdown
