I remember when Grand Funk was hotter than a 4 ball tom cat back in the early to mid seventies and the critics absolutely hated them and finally took them down after 4-5 albums. I think they pretty much started fading after the album cover that looked like a coin.
Fortunately for me, I don't give a rats ass what critics say. I like what I like and they can not like all they want to. Typically, professional critics are in favor of the opposite of the general public anyway.
