Well, regardless of how much of that is serious or satire, I just don't get the idea of turning tail and running. The debate on things is still here to be had regardless of one (very bad) hammering.
The complete and total disappearance act is actually more indicative of the illness and obsession over TDS rather than the alleged basis behind it. At least people like
@blazers and
@strummingram have hung around even if it's not at the same frequency as prior to the election.
I meant to post, and I guess I didn't, that after we got kicked in the nads in 2019, we had the gumption to stick around and put up a resistance. Or at least the hard core of us did. When even a stalwart lib like
@blazers does a disappearing act, it only puts the stamp on what we have been saying about the weakness of lib defenses.
@Heels Noir doing so doesn't surprise me at all, because he wasn't here to put up reasonable argument, he just wanted to thumb his nose at us every chance he got. And so far, he has no chance at that. I don't miss him but if blaze comes back I'll be more civil. I always enjoyed his input.
But let Trump look at somebody the wrong way and they'll trickle back in. Except that I have a feeling that the duplicitous mainstream lib media will stop churning out quite so much bullshit fodder for opposition that good ol' blaze relies on. The
social media idiots haven't slowed down much though.
