just because you and your ilk created mass hysteria over little doesn't mean that the more level-headed don't want to distance themselves from such childishness rather than mindlessly get sucked into it.

When you simply step back and truly see what Trump was running against, it shouldn't be inconceivable to anyone that even (fill in the blank___________) might get elected against her. I know I would have inked him or her or what in. The inconceivable thing to me is that the dem waste product got as much support as she did. The sheep keep sheepin' though..
Right! These morons keep focusing on a 3 hour period on 1/6/21 and acting like that alone should have determined future elections. It was a bad scene, for sure, but it was a blip on the radar for most people.

I think MAGA actually sorta clings to the older patriarchy privilege of men getting to do what they want to women. Women are subservient to men. It's in the Bible. Not all of them, not all the time.
Bringing the scriptural subservience of women back is part of making America great again.

I'm repeatedly assured that if Jesus didn't specifically change it, everything in the Old Testament is still the Word of God.

Did Jesus specifically repudiate the subservience of women? If so, I missed it. Maybe someone can point me to the chapter and verse. Otherwise, women are and should be treated as chattel.

This is an interesting question in light of Gaetz withdrawing. I've heard he is an option to replace Rubio in the Senate because Floridians apparently love the guy. Can you imagine the PIA he'll be to those that were raising the biggest stink if that happened?
Hadn't thought of that. Seems plausible. Senator Gaetz.

Someone in the news said Gaetz could also resume his seat in the House next January. The logic was that he resigned from this session, but since he was reelected, he can just show up and be sworn in in January. He's still the Rep-elect for the next session.

As for Rubio, I can't help but wonder if Trump isn't just setting him up for a fall. Once Rubio is settled in, and no longer safely in the Senate, Trump will kick hi to the curb. Payback for impugning his manhood back in the debates. I don't usually think of Trump as playing the long game, but he is known to hold a grudge.
