Late stuff (American game)...

May well be our most effective line up right now. Drake doesn't give the scoring threat that RJ does but he does chip in but defensively Drake is a problem, hitting the boards Drake is a problem, that 7ft reach from Drake, is a problem, bottom line is Drake is already a problem for our opponents, with each game he seems to be an even bigger problem!
On the subject of RJ, he is facing a similar adjustment to what Marcus had to make in 15-16 as Joel was given the keys. I know we tend to have short memories about these things, but it wasn't always smooth and didn't really hit its stride until the NCAAT, to be honest.

Now, being brutally honest, that could have been alleviated by giving JB the keys a season earlier (as we should have), and well, ditto for EC last season. But it is what it is, and thus my point is, lets not think RJ is a lost soul.

He is a warrior and a microwave scorer and like Marcus, it's just a matter of adjusting to being part of the flow as opposed to creating his own.

Sure, there's a hair of difference in Joel being an alpha scoring PG and Eliot being pass-first, BUT they are both elite Floor Generals --- and THAT is what matters for a Carolina PG.

Like Marcus, I think RJ will find his new niche, and who knows?... maybe even a little quicker...

That was painful to watch
Tyson threw like 17 punches whole match. I saw sparring video where he looked pretty good. Last night he just looked old and scared. Never really took the fight to the guy. Looked like they were both just happy to get their paydays without getting hit.

Those bitches though…..that was worth the whole thing. They went to war. Then the one girl got obviously robbed which brings it back to the reason boxing sucks. It’s all rigged.

K.
huh?…they’re all friends.
this although it's obvious you didn't get the joke

the mexican dudes just beat the hell out of each other and they’re boys.

this because I had no idea who the Mexican dudes were but then you were replying to someone who probably did know.

the issue at hand is eye balls…and as it appears, the netflix servers weren’t prepared.
this. Definitely this.

Hagler is my favorite boxer. That dude was bad. Those welterweight/middleweight battles of the 80s were special - Hagler, Hearns, Leonard, Duran, etc.
yep, I liked MM best also and it chagrinned me that he got robbed in the Sugar Ray Leonard bout, and not just because I didn't like L:eonard...although that didn't help either. It also didn't help that I paid to see that fight along with a big crowd in what used to be called Memorial Auditorium in Raleigh. HELL of a fight though.

I tried to watch. Netflix kept kicking me out. Hope they made a ton of money because the next big streaming "event" they have people may pass due to the issues. Imagine having friends over and not being able to watch? Regardless, sounds like I didn't miss that much and I'm glad the wife and I just went to bed. Saw this and thought I'd link it so people could remember what boxing could be.
