Late stuff (American game)...

...and "No he didn't!".

So, let's start right there: As usual, EC made passes that had me saying that phrase yet. again, but more importantly, we are at a vital Step 1 of long-term success, as this has become Eliot's team. Now, we have to watch the parts mesh. OK, how about what else I wanted to see?

- Tyson getting more run to find a rhythm and role: At least a partial check there

- Converting more cleanly in transition: Much improved

- RJ finding his stroke: Still struggling there, but all he needs is to go off on one of his scoring benders and I suspect the mojo will return --- hopefully that happens in Hawaii.

- Fixing the Secondary --- ok, let's explore that:
There has been a maddening missing element that has effectively killed our trademark Secondary -- not utilizing the dive post. Finally, in the second half it returned (albeit clunkily at first) with predictable results. Check out the video below.
We are still in Secondary action and Withers finds himself almost in the right place but standing around in the "short corner". EC finally directs him to flash for a medium post, and with no help coming, it's easy pickin's:

We successfully used this option a couple more times in the second half, and I can only hope it wasn't by accident, as it should be the norm (!!!). Honestly, just surrounding a retreating defense (especially when we're playing two Bigs) is, well, tits on a boar-hog. The dive is Dean's option #1 and stresses the defense by just being there.

Finally, a few more things:
- Great night for JWash.
- EC and Seth are holy terrors on defense out front --- would sure like to see them in actual Scrambles
- Constant "wows' at Powell's athleticism
- 64 pts in the second half --- yeah, that's more like it

Anyway, as usual EC got jacked out of an Assist by our stat guy, but his line was outstanding nonethelss, and it was a joy to watch our transition game operating. Got a gauntlet coming up and we'll need all hands on deck!...
Thanks gary-7. I didn’t get a chance to watch the game. I’ll look out for these points when I watch the game on replay.

iPhone help

My iPhone (XR yes I’m cheap and old lol) started to freeze up last night from what I thought was from being almost out of storage. So I did a restart on it and it came on and up very slow but I noticed some of the app were missing or not fully installed so I did another restart. Finally it comes up slowly and when I entered the password it would begin to reboot and do that very slowly for about six times. I decided to charge it overnight and try again in the morning. So the next day it was working better so I transferred some of the pics to free up space and hopefully help with its performance. Shortly afterwards I noticed I can no contacts and can’t find a way to restore them anyone with a suggestion? I don’t ever recall doing a backup either. Apple customer service was shocked as well when I called them. TIA
Go to settings, scroll down to the bottom, then throw it in the trash and get an android.

OOTB's Political Thread . ..

He's a screw-up. He breaks everything he touches, I'm not surprised he didn't.

Autism and wifi/ultrasound beliefs aside, what makes RFK qualified to run such a massive org? We need people to make these more efficient and more effective while not disrupting our health for the worse

Depending on the government for anything outside of protection from foreign threats is your first mistake.

OOTB's Political Thread . ..

Big pharma is known for self-regulation (or abusing that realm) - and this is a fight I'd like to see someone handle, just not rfk via hhs lead. His skepticism is a good thing, junk science and not being able differentiate correlation and causation is dangerous.
could you elaborate? Again please. Examples or other indications?

I'm more familiar with complaints (not from pharmas) of the FDA unreasonably holding up the release of new drugs than I am of pharmaceuticals getting drugs on the market that haven't been thoroughly vetted. Sometimes those drugs have been in use in foreign countries for some time. I want to see the FDA do what they are there to do without the CYA necessary to avoid undue backlash if everything doesn't go perfectly well. Safe and effective, and marketed honestly (as far as claims of effectiveness and safety are concerned). I really have no idea how good a job they do.

I gather that in Europe, the pharmas are sort of self-regulated through member orgs or other third party, non-governmental entities. That appeals to me but it makes me leery of too much coziness as well.
