OOTB's Political Thread . ..

To all those posters who have ragged on Trump/Vance by pointing out JD's comments about Trump many years ago, that's fair. There are reasons, of course, but it's fair to point out the change in stance and position. I just wonder though, is that a standard that you are also willing to apply in the other direction? Hmmmm. I mean, with your new found love affair with the irrelevant, here is some commentary when she was actually relevant.

Finding Their Voices, Heels are Quiet Compared to Last Season

It is clear the team has some strong leaders. The question is do they have to be vocal? I believe every team needs at least 1 Sherriff that keeps peeps in line; interprets what the coach wants, and who provides the hug or kick in the butt peeps need! Whether the person has to be a screamer or big tantrum guy is not so certain and seems to depend on the personalities of the team!

RJ, EC, JWit, and JWash have the time in the program, experience, and skill level to be our leaders. How many have or will step up? How many will take on the vocal leadership role?

I think Seth has some Harrison Ingram in him. He just needs a platform and to play well to morph into someone like Ingram. I think Withers can be a screw-you guy, but will he play enough to have a major impact in that respect.

Tyson can be chippy, but we won't see all of his prongs until he's fully comfortable playing with his talented teammates.

I'm still waiting evidence that she had questions in advance. Remember that whistleblower who had some dirt on ABC? That was fake.

I'm thinking Harris wins this yr, then with Trump gone (I assume this loss or his age will end his attempts) the next "R" candidate easily wins in 2028.

R & D balance is good, but you are talking about MAGA, not R.
Replace the D with W. And why couldn't the crowd ask questions in Monday's "Townhall" ?

That is, the interviews, town halls, debates and so on should be on the up and up - beyond question of any inside help (you know, like giving the world's smartest woman the questions prior to the debate).

Hers take us down a road that may be beyond recovery and we are likely to have her for eight years, not maxed out at four.

That would be 20 years of D versus 4 of R over a 24 year span versus 12 and 8.
