Omarion Hampton, Willie Lampkin among ESPN's top 100 college football players of the 2024-25 season

21. Omarion Hampton: Hampton finished the season with 1,660 rushing yards, the third most nationally, and was one of just three players in the country to finish with more than 2,000 yards from scrimmage; 98. Willie Lampkin: The winner of the ACC's top blocking award, Lampkin hardly looks the part of a star in the trenches, but he plays like a giant. (ESPN.com)

Portal crap I mean news

What’s the deal with Rice? Was he overhyped or what? He can’t seem to sniff the field much less a starting spot. As bad as the oline has been you would think he could get some PT. Now BB and crew are bringing in quite a few transfers for the oline it seems less likely he will play. Wouldn’t be surprised if he transfers in the spring.
Played very weak competition in High School…And when I say weak I mean weak…

If you can't be a top 10 team with Cadeau-Trimble-Powell-Wilson-Good center then you don't deserve to be the coach. That is literally three 5 stars and a 4 star in your starting lineup (the center we get may be a former 4 or 5 star too). I understand we need a good shooter or wing, and we may very well get that too (6th man). But I'm just talking starting lineup.
