Would be hilarious karma if the Dem policies on (largely Latino) immigration, which they intended as future voters for the Dem party, end up leading to a bolus of Latino voters voting Republican because they hate the woke shit the Dems stand for.
I have a friend who works at a much larger company than mine, and they employ a large number of Hispanics, some of them of questionable legitimacy. He interacts with them more than anyone else there because it's his job to oversee them, and it doesn't hurt that, having been raised in Panama, he speaks fluent Spanish. He sees that they are well-taken care of, and they in turn trust him and confide in him.
Anyway, long story less long, he's been telling me for years that when green, they complain about hardships imposed on them. But once they get settled, they complain about taxes and all the illegal immigration, and entitlements being handed out like candy. And as you might expect, they despise wokeness. They become republicans, in other words.
