NIL is a cop out for Hubert. can we do better with NIL? absolutely no doubt. but the man can’t coach his way out of a paper bag. he’s given us nothing but avg 10 loss seasons and we are damn near half way there already this year and December just started. there are tons of coaches doing far more with a lot less talent. until Hubcaps is gone, this is a sinking ship.

Nope. He'll take the highest paycheck, and head to BYU to play for a coach who has had less college head coaching success than Hubert.

Dave you think Roy being in the same boat at Oates and Alabama that year would act any differently? I don’t, he was asked several questions, answered to defend his not proven guilty player, and played and stuck up for his kid. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a bama fan or even an Oates fan, but he can coach and coach well. I’ve been to several of their practices in the past few years and it’s crazy what they get done in a small amount of time. And yes they are all about analytics which definitely translates into days game, and it shows. A few guys here hate anything Alabama and I get it, they love other schools not just NC btw. But, jealousy kills especially when that team dominates something. lol they cheat, they’re dirty, they don’t do it the right way. BS. Back on my question though, I really do think he was just taking up for his player. He didn’t lie that we know of. He went with what he knew. One guilty guy who was good btw was kicked off the team, and one who was “there”. Meh doesn’t sound egregious to me.

We gotta stop with the small ball… play two bigs at a time, because we have four… give them 5 minute stretches. Press full court, and rotate our 6 guards/wings. It’s really the only way I can see us being successful or salvaging this season. We played a lot of good teams. Changes must happen!!! Lastly, get the ball into post 4/5 possessions a half or we will never get another big.

Everyone talking about the bigs.. is 6'8, 6'9, and 6'10 not tall enough? Last time I checked the 6'8 below the rim dude from Clemson had 20 rebounds against Kentucky last night.

Our dudes just don't have the hunger or fight. Don't know if it's coaching or what but stop blaming size.. it ain't size!!! It's no effort.

And Mississippi State is humiliating Pittsburgh. Most of the 12 to 2 ( if Dook hangs on) complete owning of the ACC by the SEC were not even competitive games.

Not a single head coach is going to win at a Blue Blood level without a good NIL fund to buy talent.

Either the millionaire and billionaire boosters start writing checks or we might as well just shut down the athletic department. MJ alone could personally buy UNC's way into championship contention every year and he wouldn't even notice the money missing.

You can beat this team with transfers that are the appropriate size position wise so they won’t be worse
