Other ACC Games Week 10

All games this week are on Saturday.

5-3 (3-2) Louisville heads into Death Valley against 6-1 (5-0) Clemson. All 3 Cards losses are by 7 points. So they are a threat against anybody. Clemson dropped in the polls on a Bye week. The Tigers still must go to VT and Pitt and then finish at Home vas. The Citadel and SoCar. The ACC needs Clemson to finish no worse tan 10-2.

6-2 (2-2) Dook is coming off a heartbreaker to SMU. The devils own team will play at 8-0 (4-0) Miami. A massive hurricane destroying all things Dook is what's needed.

2-6 (1-4) Stanford travels to the apex of Wuffie high culture. The 4-4 (1-3) Pack await. This would be a nice time for the Cardinal to have another hot and very lucky game.

5-3 (3-1) VT is headed to the Dome to face the 5-2 (2-2) Orange.A 1 loss ACC team can make the ACC CCG, so the Hokies are fighting to remain in the hunt. Syracuse is fighting to get a decent bowl.

7-0 (3-0) Pitt goes west to Big D where the 7-1 (4-0) SMU Mustangs await. SMU's lone loss is close one to BYU, and BYU easily could be in the Big 12 Championship Game. The winner of this home should step up nicely in the polls.

Insults and pejoratives are fine when they are well-founded. You don't have the mental acuity to understand that making the empty, ill-founded claims that you do is like insulting yourself. Maybe you shouldn't have dropped out.

no, I haven't read it because I'm not interested in it, and I'm not going to do so in order to find a single reference somewhere within it. That's why I asked him to do so, since he apparently has read it and since he is the one who either doesn't get the concept of substantiating his claims or deflects from claims that are just bullshit to begin with. See how conservatives are the ones with common sense who back up what they contend and libs are the ones who mostly spew caca? You probably don't.

However, I had already done a quick search on what McMasters has said about Trump in that regard and nothing approaching joeyjoey's claim about Trump seeking to help Putin run all over Western Europe came up. Wouldn't you think a sensational statement like that would be easy to find. You probably don't.

As to the question of who I will believe, that depends on WHAT I would be considering believing. That hasn't been presented in any credible form or at all as of yet. See what I'm saying about how common sense works? I doubt you do.

let's see. A clear-headed individual in full control of his mental faculties who occasionally says stupid things, or a derelict political has-been who has lost control of both his mental faculties and his bowels and occasionally does NOT say stupid things while running the country amuck. You're right, there's not much comparison. I'm still going with Trump, oeuvre and all, especially since Harris is even worse in the 'says stupid things' department..

New word 'oeuvre' though, had to look that one up. It said 'word used mostly by 'fruitcakes' '. And of course by 'fruitcakes', I'm sure that means only in the weirdo sense of the word.

OK, I won't. But since you are a top influencer here, I will offer others one example.

If Pomeroy's ratings are worthless or no good then that will be easy to test. Just do this thought experiment...

1. Create a ratings list of all 364 teams by selecting them at random.
2. Get Pomeroy's ratings.
3. Compare the random list with Pomeroy's list at different points throughout the season.
4. The null hypothesis is that neither will be appreciably better at predicting reality.

I'll bet on Pomeroy. Who's betting Pomeroy is no better than random?
