Login to view embedded mediaOkay so here’s what I just dont get. I’m not trying to push anyone’s buttons or pick a fight but evidently a rainbow appeared in the skies over wnc today. It’s all over social media. And everyone is like “praise god thank you god!” Lol. Praise god? For what exactly? An all knowing, all powerful, all loving deity has manipulated the weather and atmosphere to create a rainbow but chose not to manipulate the weather to prevent the rain to begin with?…and with it all this death misery and suffering? It makes no sense. I mean I understand the symbolism with Noah and the flood but still….you wanna impress me god how about dissipating the hurricane while at sea instead of throwing us a rainbow bone after allowing entire towns to be swept away by it. Amen.
1. I stopped listening after she said America's favorite cookie is Oreos Birthday Cake. WTF.@blazers Thought you might want to see this in light of your post about food in England v Europe. It gets worse.

The reason Coach Davis is no longer looking for a big high school class is basically due to diminishing returns. He knows we may have as many as 8 or 9 scholarships to fill before the '25-'26 season starts. He knows we'll need several immediate impact players. That's why he offered half the recruits in the top 30. But as time has passed it has become more and more likely that we won't land any of those immediate impact recruits who could start or carry a huge load as freshmen. So then a decision has to be made. Do we continue offering lower ranked kids, or do we bet the house on finding most of what we need in the transfer portal? This is where Coach Davis has learned a lesson from guys like Dunn, Styles, Nickel, Shaver, and High. These lower ranked recruits are unlikely to play much as underclassmen, and there's a strong possibility they won't even be on our roster by the time they are upperclassmen. So what's really the point of spending time recruiting guys ranked that low?Complete speculation, but is it possible we have a couple guys planning on returning?
here's what I don't get. People who struggle to find meaning in life make me just shake my head. Why does there have to be meaning? Why do we lie awake at night trying to fond the answer to an unanswerable question? It is what it is, and what it is at default is a struggle. It's dog eat dog, dodge the asteroid, survival of the fittest kind of shit. If there is a God, he didn't drop civilization down on us with automatically watered lawns and wide screen TVs to watch football games on. All he gave us was an opportunity to make lemonade out of lemons. The only gifts he promised us here were those of our own making. I'm not just good with that, I'm damn glad for it.Okay so here’s what I just dont get. I was going to post something similar the other day, to give the younger people here a heads up about what it's like seeing your contemporaries that you've had some connection with going to their reward on a daily basis. But when I started, I realized that I'm not sure how I feel about it. Strangely, it's not necessarily bad. It definitely gets your attention though.I was talking to my best buddy since we were three (who is fantastically gifted at music) the other day. The discussion evolved into the realization that the phenomenon of all our musical influences/greats passing away has equally and profoundly impacted our acceptance of our age just as much as the growth of our kids/grandkids, health events, losing family members, etc. Every time someone passes, we feel just a little older.
Do you think this will haunt Biden decades from now like you-know-who?
PS - How did are you communicating with these folks who are 236 miles away and shut off from the modern world?
Not a moment too soon. Good for her, him and whoever is donating. I hope it gets to the people ASAP.Finally, someone who somehow promotes Trump in a decent light.
Cell service came back yesterday dipshit.Do you think this will haunt Biden decades from now like you-know-who?
George W. Bush never recovered politically from Katrina
WASHINGTON - George W. Bush never recovered politically from the perception that the federal government's failure to respond adequately to Hurricane Katrina extended the misery for tens of thousands ofwww.nola.com

Maybe he meant Dixon. In any case, there are multiple good options we apparently are in good shape for! Hopefully, Hubs will close at least 2 of them!Who is Dawkins? That’s a name I have missed in our recruiting.
