UNC vs Kentucky in the Bubble Bracket

That's the matchup Lunardi lists today, ahead of the Carolina-State game.

[The winner gets an 11 seed and Lunardi would have them playing 6-seed Iowa (projected 21-11).]

I'd love to see that UNC-UK game. But can we have it in the Sweet Sixteen please?

If we don't win tomorrow, it might be in the NIT.

Interestingly enough, Pomeroy projects both teams to finish 19-12 in their respective conferences. I assume that means they will have to win a few games (not just 1) in their conference tournaments to get to the Big Dance.

Lack of teamwork.

Maybe it's a cultural thing and the NCAA in general. Academics and team achievements have taken a backseat to social media followers, individual achievements, NIL and a general me first attitude. It's no longer about the school that allows me to get the best education to compliment the athletics program, it's about where can I get the best NIL deal and the most exposure for my brand / pro bball career and it's promoting individualism over team athletics. The NCAA f'd up royally (jmo) with the way they did the NIL BS. Instead of making individual deals they should have made team deals where the revenue is shared (somewhat) equally amongst the players. This might help explain why the former "blue blood" type program are becoming mediocre and why a bit of parity has returned to college bball. The former powerhouse teams have the "stars" that are playing for themselves and the smaller schools are actually playing for their team and they are playing together within that team concept for 4 years, and when they hit the floor they are always together.

UNC used to be that way in the DES days but that time has come and gone for the most part because now it's no longer about the TEAM .. it's all about "me first" and the Benjamin's. Sad but true.

UNC 2016 vs UNC 2023

While it's probably more fair to compare 2016 with 2022 - since they were both NCAA Runnerup teams, I'm more interested in comparing that 2016 with the current team. [We could also compare this team with the 2017 Champs - both being after-Runnerup teams - but that hardly seems fair.]

Here are the most used players in 2016, in order of minutes played.
