Discussion
On Saturday the Heels faced a hungry Miami team and squeaked by with a hard-fought win. It was one of the faster games of the season for UNC, with 170 overall possessions.

Offensively the Heels were off, scoring just 0.88 pts per possession. This was mainly due to a very high 19% loss of ball. The Heels only shot 46% inside the arc, and fell in love with the 3, taking a stunning 53% of their shots from behind the arc. It was the 9th highest rate of 3-point attempts by a UNC team in the last 1014 games.

Defensively the Heels forced Miami into a 0.85 pts/possession outing. This is slightly above this team's average of allowing 0.86 pts per possession.

All in all, not a stellar game for this team, but it's always good to get a win against one of the country's best coaches.
