Mitch Trubisky Finalizing Contract Extension With Pittsburgh Steelers

Mitch Trubisky signed with the Steelers last year with the hopes of being the team's new starting quarterback. While that dream ended, it appears he has found a long-term NFL home in Pittsburgh. On Thursday, Steelers GM Omar Khan said the team is finalizing an extension for Trubisky, who was entering the final year of a two-year deal worth $14.285 million. (CBS Sports)

He is evidently working out for them as a pre-draft thing… Highly doubt he gets drafted, but that fit would make sense on paper as a series-to-series matchup defensive stopper. Especially if they can fix his shot just enough to be efficient from the corner.

When the first version of a college football video game in years comes out next summer, the virtual likenesses of actual players will be in the game. EA Sports has contracted with OneTeam Partners to "facilitate collegiate athletes' names and likenesses" into the game, solving one of the major questions about college football's return to the video game space.
